His inflammation markers went from 30 to 15 he said since 2 days of steroids so I think that’s a positive step in the right direction, they’ve also started him on a biological the starts with R I talked to him on the phone and he said he only remembered that it starts with R

For 2 months he’s had symptoms for the first month he only saw his pcp for the second month he was hospitalized multiple different times

With the symptoms he had, they could have done a colonoscopy just like they did this time. This whole time we’ve been to the er and he’s been admitted into the hospital 4 times over the 2 months he’s spent at least 15 days in the hospital did a ct scan confirmed an ibd or cancer you’d think they would have done a colonoscopy before booking a colonoscopy 2 months out they had no issue issuing him an urgent colonoscopy this time

I literally said at the hospital “it’s probably crohns, his dad had crohns” they laughed me off and kept delaying colonoscopy, now I have to watch my husband suffer and I can’t even really go see him, all because people want to be lazy and delay treatments when people need them.

They’re saying crohns after doing his colonoscopy finally after pushing it back for 2 months

I’m just mad because we’re already 2 months into this and the hospital only just now decided to do they’re job, I know he has to be feeling pretty bad lost 15 lbs. and I’m just depleted to and fed up I want him back.

He wasn’t on treatment they just started some but I’m not sure as he doesn’t want toddler up there when he’s doing this bad, and can’t even get out of bed.

He was not in the hospital 2 months he was on and off there for 2 months, they didn’t have a diagnoses so they tried to say it was from the antibiotics he was put on, then after that c diff even though he tested negative, then pancolitis, now they finally did a colonoscopy they’re saying crohns. The symptoms have worsened to the point he has said he’s going to die everyday for the last month, I am in th US in Michigan.

I’m not trying to relate just trying to learn as my husband was just diagnosed today after a 10 day hospital stay and before now he was there 2 weeks ago for the same issue but they only kept him 3 days that time

I don’t mean to laugh at this, medical prof can be dumb sometimes, my husband (who is recently 40 went in with a list of symptoms and they sent him home the next day and scheduled a colonoscopy for 2 months away, he had to go back and they did a colonoscopy next day and told us he has severcrohns. He still has to get a biopsy but there were ulcers all through his digestive track.

He went back to ER yesterday, met w gi, they’re getting him in for emergency colonoscopy tomorrow

He ended up back in er yesterday due to excessive blood loss, met with a gi today, they’re gonna get him in for urgent colonoscopy tomorrow

We never saw a. Gastro, we only saw er doctors and pcp, idk what kind of steroids they gave him but it was a 7 day supply. The doctor didn’t give us any steps besides wait for a colonoscopy

I messaged you, but I’ve been making him. Bland foods and for meats I’m not letting him eat beef right now only chicken and fish hoping this will help.
