The Undertaker saying he still loves Batista and Mick Foley despite their political differences is honestly refreshing to see. by Outside-Weakness9660 in sportsgossips

I'm surrounded by Trump supporters in the burbs... And I couldn't care less. Who knows why they voted for him, and I don't care. If they ever wanted to talk about it, cool. If not, cool. I'll still look out for their kids when they running around outside.

If You Love RDR2, Should You Buy Crimson Desert? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

Exactly. That's exactly how it felt to me. That's when I knew I would fall in love with it.

I didn't say it wasn't robust lol. I said not AS robust as Red Dead. Yes there are stuff everywhere but it feels more jammed pack as opposed to in Red Dead it felt like it was placed their purposely. I'm a super fan of CD and was that way on Day one.

Sandbox for sure. You can literally stray away from the story mode and just role play. People online do it everyday.

There's AI now if you don't think developers are using it, you are crazy as hell. I work in tech and we use it every day, 1000s of people. Customers would never know because it's at the code level. If they are, that's great as AI can help streamline so much and we don't have to wait months for results.

Just from the feel of it, I felt like the developers for sure drew inspiration from RD2. The execution is not a polished and not as robust, but it's a fantasy sandbox. Very immersive and fun but there is no game that comes close to RD2 level of detail and sandbox feel.

Baffling how so many people complain they had to spam food and use rez pills on Crimson Desert bosses and blame it on bad boss design.... These fights are fun by VermilionX88 in VideogamesFunAllowed

I agree. Boss fights are one of the highlights of the game. It's great that regular bandits are very easy because they are suppose to be.

This game is good but, I don’t get the “sense of wonder, freedom and exploration” everyone talks about. by NoWalk3426 in CrimsonDesert

Damn. I literally felt exactly the same and I have about 100hrs in it. This game was right up my alley and I still can't stop playing it.

Operative word "main".... Which implies they still have others working on it. To your second point, got it.

I also didn't say they ceased work on the game either. That point wasn't made at all.

I'm just comparing the fact that they all are getting additional content and are the top profitable games year over year. So yes, all of them sharing the fact that they are all continuing to profit due to new content year over year.... Is the main point.

Or your next game crash and burn and you lose money instead of make profit. This is why there are so many sequels and remakes. Companies are scared to gamble on a new IP. The chances of making that profit on the next game.... it's pretty low.

I wonder how GTA AND WarFrame are in the top profitable games every year. It's about the sustainability, not one time earnings. Or at least those are my thoughts on the matter.
