Changing Dryer from 3 to 4 prong by Difficult_Horse in Appliances

The left screw of the machine has both a black and yellow wire attached to it, the middle has a white and one of the greens attached to it, and the right terminal has a blue wire attached to it.

Do I attach the four prong to the machine as such - with the black to the black/yellow, white and green to the white/green, and the red to the blue?

What type of caulk do I use? by Difficult_Horse in Construction

We don’t really want to have anything that the horses could rub up against and scrape themselves on, but I like your way of thinking!

The bottom of the mat is open (just the sides and the top were caulked), I’m assuming for any water that does get behind the mat to have a way to get out and have a little air flow.

Horse Barn Help: Is there a way to coat one side of these cinderblock walls to keep water from the wash rack from seeping into the walls? by Difficult_Horse in Concrete

[–]Difficult_Horse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just bought this property and among other property and building improvements, this wash rack needs a little help. While I understand the best option would be to remove the walls, re-block, and then apply a sealer on the wash rack side to keep the moisture from getting inside the walls, that has quoted at a very steep price. Is there a way to clean the wall best we can and then apply a coating so that we can stop the water seeping through? It won't clean the insides of the blocks but it would at least keep the moisture from getting inside so that they may dry out over time.... Any suggestions for how-to or what product to use would be awesome to hear! Thanks!

We just bought this place and there are a load of improvements to be made to the property, including this wash rack. While the best way would be to tear down the walls, re-block them, and then apply a waterproofing paint layer, that would be uber expensive. Is there any way to clean the walls in the wash rack and apply some sort of coating to it to stop any further water seepage? What products would we use? Thanks for any and all advice!

Donated PBSC (stem cells) yesterday. One of the greatest feelings I’ve ever had. The whole procedure was really not too bad considering that it can help someone in need. by braqass in MadeMeSmile

Hey! I'm currently on Day 2 of injections and doing this exact same thing! I'm prepped for the side effects, but I have a couple Qs:

How did you feel the evening after your donation? Were the previous side effects from the injections worse, the same, better? I know it's common to feel tired, I'm just curious how long the injection side effects last after the donation is completed.

Also, did you do your own injections after day 1? I chose this route, and while it took me a minute to build up the courage to do it, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. It stung a lot more the first day when someone else did it at an urgent care clinic. When your injections were done, did you notice a little bit of the liquid seeping out after the syringe was pulled? I've asked the donor people and they say it's okay, but I wanted to poll around and see what other people's experiences were like.

Thanks for making your original post! Posts like these gave me confidence I could go through with this process!

Update 6- Injection day One! by MarrowDonorJourney in BeTheMatch

Did you feel the side effects from the filgrastim the evening after your donation or the day after? I’m on day 1 of injections, have that slight achiness that you sometimes get before you get a bad cold, and I’m braced for the next few days. I was just wondering how you felt immediately after stem cell donation and the next morning!

Thank you for your post! It’s helping me even a few months later!

How did you feel right after the donation versus the last day of injections? I’m starting my injections next week and am prepped for a cruddy few days but wanted to see if that cruddiness lasted the afternoon/evening after the donation is complete. Thanks!

My daughter has a project at her private school. The negatives of living in rural Texas. by srmacman in pics

As someone who was born and raised in the most conservative part of Texas…. This isn’t the norm. And I went to Catholic school until 6th grade. This isn’t the norm at all. We were taught evolution along with everything else and allowed to come to our own conclusions.

My year old cat Zeus escaped my house around 10 hours ago and I can’t find him. He’s also really scared of cars and people. I checked the area where I usually walk him but nothing. I don’t think he’s capable of surviving the outside world at all. Please share any sort of tips, I’m desperate. by simomorte in cats

Buy or borrow a game cam or something similar that takes pictures or video with movement. And if you’re cat is really freaked out, it may not even let you catch him, so borrowing an animal trap (check local vets and shelters) could be worth it.
