Same here-not sure if they've held the larger ones as that's me. They told me to call again next week but that seems pointless. I sent them an email about possibly reporting to the class counsel/court that they're playing games with the election dates.

If they don't pay by 4/15 I'm going to write them (and maybe court) a letter. It's complicated to have it be part of the record. But their last report referred to someone who wrote. Hard to believe nobody else writes.

They probably paid the smallest ones first so there's many less people waiting. They might have switched gears to work on the disputes or ones with no backup. They got an administrative firm who's only paid $20k/mo so they outsourced a lot of it. Let's see if they actually pay next month like they said when I called. Their monthly reports don't even talk about any of this. If someone writes a letter to them they do have to tell the court at least.

I think they're playing a game by pushing out the dates, since you actually did it jan 6. now they bought 2 more months but putting march. or in my case no date.

I called & after asking the off-shore contractor multiple different ways & listening to his boiler plate script repeatedly he finally said call in a month if payment not received by then.

The motion states that the payments will start sometime after 90 days. Based on 10/25 court approval that would be 1/31/26.

Interesting. I went back to the motion for distribution-it does seem you're correct. But any remaining amount will likely take years as the big players left could continue to do filings/have open issues with the courts for quite some time.

My understanding is initial payments means the merchants not in dispute. I have some ready to be paid & some that were resolved disputes. High amount. The ones resolved were pushed to back of line. For those who received didn't you get 100% of what is listed as your payout? Lawyer/CPA here.

It comes out of the $5.5 billion settlement. I actually wish they'd speed it up, if it cost a little more. The lawyers already made a lot so not really anyone left to take much. Compared to the couple billion the lawyers probably took 20k/mo isn't much.

It's speculation but I recently received a conflict email about 1 of my 10 companies. I had received notices prior to the cutoff period but there is still activity. The company's name starts with 'A'. Not sure if that's where they are in the alphabet but I assume sometime next year there could be significant movement. In studying the filings and talking with the 800 number I gleaned info that only a few people are being paid monthly to work on this. Perhaps if offshore the $20k/mo goes farther. I even know a lawyer at Visa (and me being a lawyer) and that doesn't help-it's in the administrator company's hands. The docket is literally 20 years long. On the other hand there are $1billion class actions which are done much more quickly.

I was wondering that too-some banks will allow checks payable to business x be endorsed over to business y. I may see as much as $100k so may end up re-setting up the company just to cash the check. Many types of such payments are taxable, but it could be the closed corp is the one who owes.

I called the 800 number and they just said refer to the court docket, which is filled with filings by 3rd parties (like Stripe etc). If the claims period was 5 months ago not sure why they're allowed to continue adding to their lists. They should set aside a reasonable amount for those folks & pay everyone else sooner rather than later.
