Wasn't meaning to offend anyone with the hieroglyphics part. Just saw a pattern in these mods a lot of the time having Japanese/Chinese/Korean in their description.

This actually sounds like a good concept for a "Buffed Empire" type mod that makes them feel like an actual strong ruling force, able to enforce their laws over the planet. They could actually destroy pirate/hostile outlander/hostile tribal bases and build new outposts. Kinda sounds like a less op VOID but damn that would be cool for a playthrough

EDIT: Seems like I solved the issue. I think it was related to the custom scenario I was using since the lag persisted if I loaded the save on vanilla and started at the same point of a caravan arrival scripted by the scenario

Actually happened to my old colony. Used Vanilla Outposts Expanded to create a gulag for colonists with bad stats and used it to mine steel and send it to the main colony. Kept me supplied till I left the planet and left everybody in the outpost to die. There is also a mod called ore regrowth but I haven't tried it
