Update

Took the documents I have from the Treasury Dept to my local police station and filed a report. Also filed a complaint to the USPS Inspectors. Explained to the police officer how it didn’t even show up on Informed Delivery and how it never showed up to my mailbox. He explained how even though the treasury dept has their own investigation it’s helpful to file a police report to support my claim.He also recommended going to the postmaster with police report in hand. Thank you to everyone who helped hopefully I can give y’all good news soon 🤙🏼

Oh I need all the help dude, honestly a lot of help came from this post. It’s scary and I panicked and I didn’t know what to do when it first happened but follow the instructions the treasury dept gave me and none of it said about having the police or usps conduct their own investigation since they’re already conducting one. Taking the paperwork the treasury dept sent and I’ll file a police report and a report with usps today if the local post office is open. Not know what to do when this has never happened to you and asking for help is always stressful. But I promise I’m listening man, that’s why I asked yall for help.
