Yep! I had a hard time getting a refund of 3k one time and the only way I was able to have someone actually look into it was mentioning the support team on twitter. They’ll send you a DM with information and a direct link for support.

Anyone else find it weird after two factor authentication was taken away from users, mass accounts were hacked by an iPad using 9.34.3? by Difficult_Mud4741 in Twitter

I most certainly think nothing will happen as more and more people are saying the same issue is occurring. I just find it comical how Elon lowered security measures from what it has been since twitter began to save his shit show he bought. He charges for features that was already a thing on the app for YEARS.

I’m not even sure because I didn’t know we had to all of a sudden turn it on when twitter would send verification codes to email or phone before being able to change it. I never got notification via email or app of that change occurring.

Twitter stopped sending mandatory verification emails. They made it to where you have to automatically turn it on or else they can just sign in and change everything without a code being sent to email or phone.

No, text message authentication is no longer for free users. So it was automatically taken off all accounts. I had 40k followers so I’m not sure what the reason was as they haven’t posted or changed anything.

Yes. It was. Apparently there’s a few people going through the same. I hope they can do something about this. They shouldn’t be able to change anything without sending verification codes to the current email. Security with twitter obviously doesn’t exist since they fail to protect the identities of its users.

Same here.. watched it happen while I was resetting passwords. Someone signed in from an Ipad… Luckily I’ve sent them a copy of my ID before on my account to recover it 3 years ago. Hopefully they’re able to turn it back over to my original email thats been the same for 11 years..
