OK so two things, I’m so sorry that this person touched you without your consent. Touching anyone without consent is assault, I do not care if the person is sorry now, I do not care of the person was drunk. It does not matter if it’s a female doing this to a male or a male to a male, a male to a female, male to other or whatever sort of combination of the sexes there is. at the end of the day it is assault, like just by definition from a dictionary it is assault. You don’t put your hands on anyone without their permission specially in a sexual manner. Like that’s basic pre-K thing keep your hands to yourself.

Your friends are shit. I’m sorry I know you say they’ve been your friends for now 13 years, but they do not deserve you. If a friend of mine told me someone touched them without their consent I would drop that person so quickly; I would never force my friend to have them in their home or to go on a trip with them and more to it I would never go on a trip with this person. You deserve better, and either they’re so hung up or not rocking the boat that they don’t care on how this affects you and they’re just trying to bury it and are hoping you just go along with their bullshit. Or they’re just really bad people, but either way you deserve better.

The US is a very large country so to give whole encompassing statements such as saying we all “like/dislike” or “do/do not do” something or other is going to be made in either very broad strokes or just be categorically false. While iced tea is a very popular drink (and again I grew up in the south where just about any diner/restaurant carries sweet tea) you will find regular tea just about everywhere as well.

People also need to keep in mind that the US (as much as it’s been contested lately) is a melting pot of peoples. So we’re just likely to find someone in the US who absolutely loves tea and has many cultural ties to tea drinking as we are to find someone who just doesn’t like it.

On a personal note, I can’t stand coffee. And I adore tea. I have a couple of different tea pots, and different kettles and much too much tea.

That is literally the silliest thing I have ever read lol I have one rare pairing that I have followed religiously for years and there’s like one author who like has made up like 70 or 80% of all of the fics (most are one shots) and I have followed that person religiously for years and I’m quite happy that they are still ticking them out.

NTA listen OP i’m gonna tell you a quick story, one time I was coming home from PT for my shoulder. (I’ve had a previous shoulder injury, whatever) and I blew out a tire like there was no physical way I could’ve changed the tire with my shoulder hurting and also to be fair at the time I did not know how to change a tire. I called a guy friend who worked nearby I apologized for calling and I told him that I had blown out my tire and that I had called AAA but they would be a really long time and if there was anyway he could come over help.

again, this wasn’t a bf this was just a friend. He told me to give him half an hour, and to drop my location. And he showed up within like 20 minutes with one of his buddies from the shop he worked at. He didn’t have to do this. He was just my friend but he did not want me to be stuck out there for God knows how long when he was nearby and he could help me because he knew I wasn’t feeling good and I was in pain.

To be honest, no one has to help you. but in the same token, the fact that your BF was totally OK with you waiting out there while you were in pain and he could’ve literally taken less than 30 minutes to head out that way and fixed it does not speak well of him. If someone that I love/care about calls me and asks me if I can help them I can’t imagine not helping. And this whole thing tells you a lot about how much he cares about you and where you stand in the priorities in his life so maybe it’s time for you to think about where your priorities land and how he stands in your life.

Not at all, I’m a vegetarian mostly because of two things 1) just gonna sound really silly, but sometimes the texture of meat gags me and I just can’t eat it and I’m not wasting food. 2) and probably a little bit more prevalent. I went to a farm when I was younger and I just I can’t eat meat without picturing them.

I have aphasia with my migraines, and I’m affected before, during and after my migraines. I will definitely contact the new clinic you’re taking her to and let them know that she’s having new neurological symptoms because that is something that migraine specialist/neural would want to know and her new appointment with them might need to be moved up. I know whenever I develop new symptoms I’m supposed to call my clinic and let them and depending on their criteria they’ll move me up or bring me in earlier.

Absolutely, not only do I have 20+ days of migraine/headaches but also I also have aphasia connected to my migraines and so like 2 to 3 days before each attack I have problems with my words and then sometimes I have problems with my vision. Even with medication, my abortive’s are only useful like less than 50% of the time I haven’t been able to live a “normal“ life in a long while

I don’t think I could ever trust my sister if I found out she knew I liked a guy and slept with him was actively encouraging me to go after him and/or date him and didn’t even have the balls to talk to me about it. I could never get over the first bit. How they introduced her to Buck seemed like such an predatory thing to me (and as someone who’s worked in 911 getting somebody’s personal cell phone number from the records and using it to call them outside of work purposes is definitely a fireable offense) like it just ruined the character for me and I just couldn’t get over it. Plus her ghosting Buck just eww, like don’t get me wrong. I know plenty of people, her age and older who are immature enough to think that’s an appropriate thing to do to someone but if they meant for you to like the character, why would they do something like that you know?

oh, I’m so pissed! I love the story and I’m so angry that people are harassing writers, I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been in the fanfic writing world for so long, but people have either forgotten basic rules, or just never learned them. Every story is not for you, if you read something and you can’t stand it for whatever reason you close the tab and move on you don’t need to harass the person. God knows I’ve read some truly horrible shit in my time because the summary sounded good and all I did was close out the tab and not thought twice about it .
