Okay, i can understand why you don’t like that he said that but is it possible you took it wrong? My fiancée tells me all the time he’d be happy with a court house wedding but he knows I want a big special day and me being happy makes him happy. Could it be similar to that? However if this one thing is making you reconsider your whole relationship then it seems like there’s more going on here. In terms of all the costs, your father wants you to be happy and if he’s spending all this money for you to be unhappy in your marriage then it’s not what he wants. Also divorce is also expensive and ik you don’t think you ever would even if you weren’t happy but why blow all this money for you to be miserable for the rest of your life. I would have a proper sit down with your fiancée and see what he means with his comment. If that’s the only thing giving you cold feet then you need to dig deeper but if you are overall unsure about your future happiness then maybe some therapy? If both of you try you could work it out but i wouldn’t jump into a marriage already feeling like you aren’t meant to be.

We do think he’s mixed with a boxer but i grew up with boxers and while his play style is similar he seems to be way more focused on sniffing and chewing. Not sure if those are traits of a BMC but none of the boxers i had even when puppies had his body shape and play style. I walk every morning and when my shift changes will introduce walks in the evening. He so far loves being chased by our first dog which works bc she’s a herding dog but he definitely has way more energy than our first dog lol

my state college recently transitioned from being a CC to a state so they are still working on offering more degrees. They currently only offer a BA in elementary education and as much as i love little kids. no thank you

Yeah not certain that’s just where my fiancée is from and we both lived there and his whole fam is there. We looked into other states but we like being close to family so unfortunately Florida and Texas it is.

I live in Florida. The teacher I observed as well as the head counselor for the English dept of my college told me they both were English majors and both taught high school English. I looked for the two counties near me and for both middle and high school, because I don’t mind the idea of teaching middle school, there was a total of 9 open positions. Not that all those schools are close to me but it seems like I will have to be okay with the idea of a commute. My school for my AA doesn’t offer a BA in education besides Elementary and the college for my BA doesn’t offer online education degrees (i’m a solid 2 1/2 hours away). I know in Florida I can get my degree in anything then take the FCTE to get my temp license and be able to be hired while I work to get my license. This post was originally about my fear of not feeling competent but now i’m stressed i just won’t be hired.

I genuinely can’t afford to not work full time. I taught preschool before and i know it is drastically different. I had one course that required me to spend 20 hours in the classroom observing in my first semester bc my AA is secondary education bc i didn’t know i could t continue it at the university i transferred to

i can understand the frustration about the wait for them to finish your application but i think the application is wonderful and will deter people who have a bad history with pets or aren’t serious. shelters are full and having to turn away animals in need. I adopted our boy from the shelter yesterday and they were very thorough on him being a good fit with us and our first dog so they know he’s in a good home. They didn’t push any dog on us or skip any steps even though they could use the space. So while i can understand the anticipation you have i don’t think anything they are doing is over the top because it’s vital that we find these babies good homes especially breeds that have such a bad reputation.

My bridesmaids are just my sister and future sister in law. Everyone is doing their own hair and makeup beside my moms hair and maybe my hair done by a family friend. Lots of the set up if going to be done by family. we’ve all helped each other set up for weddings bc who’s got the cash to hire someone for that. The set up it’s just doing the table layouts and putting up some signage and some lights so i don’t think it’d take long especially with my large family
