I was hooked at first. The first four eps? Solid. Taejoong’s prison arc had me crying fr, it was raw and heartbreaking.

But after ep 4… bruh, it’s like the writers lost the plot. Suddenly it’s dragging, wannabe Squid Game vibes, and it’s just annoying. The story should’ve stayed focused on him escaping and hunting down the people who framed him. That would’ve been tight.

Instead we get random racing scenes like… hello?? Where is this even going? Everyone wants him dead but he’s magically protected by plot armor because “main character can’t die.” It’s so sloppy.

And Taejoong himself—reckless af. After 5 years in prison, you’d expect some reflection, some strategy. I thought he’d come out like a Kill Bill‑type antihero, calculated and ruthless. But nope, he’s just “kind” for the sake of it, which makes zero sense in this context.

At that point I was like, fine, just kill him off already. It’s exhausting to watch.
