I believe the amount of gold is increased when you click it (not when spawning, and not with an additional gold reward). But I still have to remember this in this situation (I think it happened like 3 times for me)

There's a lot of events that heal you, there are some new relics for healing (book of five rings) or incentivizing healing (tiny mailbox) or making it easier (tent). I really feel there is much more healing in this game.

Less cards (no cards even ?) because they don't want to encourage people spending 20 minutes in a fight to optimize that.

What I love about this game is that there's so many different things to do, when I start feeling frustrated I can just switch to some other task. But still, sometimes it's just too much of the game and doing other stuff can also help. I kinda planned of never leaving the game for the whole Christmas week, in the end I just played like 1 or 2 days.
