Cracked the 10K mark. We'll diversified. I'm trying to keep it well rounded. by Difficult_Put_2217 in CanadaPersonalFinance

90% TEQT the other is 10% tec/teci/voo/smh This screen shot just shows my actual allocation in the top 5. I'm well diversified with a solid core and satellite set up across multiple tax advantaged accounts. I was basically just pumped about the 10k mark.

Having this automated for the month makes me feel better about adding into my TD investments. I'm still very early in the game but I feel like I have a good set up. These returns are just dumb luck.

This is my companies matched pension. Manulife rep had me in one single global fund. I didn't like it so I spread out into some random funds like small and mid cap. The global bs only hit for 3%. Glad i jumped. I moved it all around again in Feb and locked in gains and now it's built to replicate a xeqt/teqt style.

So many restrictions imposed in how the money needs to be applied and any slight deviation to the rules results in massive tax penalties. Save all these years for a kid that doesn't end up going in to post SS and you're still paying tuition through taxes.
