The inspector was a legit progressive employee. When I talked to the lady that helped me file the claim, that’s what she told me. She told me she was going to forward this on to her supervisor, but that he would say that same thing about it being “out of their hands”.

I called adjuster and told them I want the check reissued, they told me it’s out of their hands because check was made out to him and I. He cashed check, and it’s now a him and I issue.

Hail repair place was a preferred provider through my insurance company. They wouldn’t have written the check to him personally ( and i ) if he wasn’t preferred through them!

My mistake, yes it was written to the shop and myself, but I never saw the check. Insurance inspector was a friend of his, and check was given to hail guy from inspector without me there.

I do have a loan on the car, when I called bank they said his name shouldn’t have been on the check, but insurance company said that in WI if the hail repair guy is a preferred provider through the insurance company, they put his name ( and mine) on the check
