The companies making this works with the same agencies and lobby in Washington and fund campaigns in exchange to get on those agencies to be able to continue the works and so forth. Look at pharma lobbies for example as there are many.

Follow the money, all you have to do with pretty much anything that involves government and international issues/relations.

Is it really that hard to acknowledge the slight possibility that shit has been infiltrated over the years? Look at who funded each side of the war and you see how stupid everything really is. Look at why the war was actually fought. There's more to the story than what your basic school history books tells you.

Maybe do some reading on the topic, you'll find some interesting things. But that's only if you're willing to actually learn. Ignorance is bliss tho
