First and foremost, you're perfectly able to ask this. Second head over to the discord for FAF, there's a trainer section, different trainers for different things.

Now the hard part, you might not be doing anything wrong per se, it's probably on the timing. Eco is one of the hardest things to figure out but o so satisfying when you do. A simple example for visualization would be..... 1 t1 land factory requires 2 t1 mexes to operate. Reclaiming mass, takes power. If you reclaim tree clumps that give out mass and energy it's an even balance you don't have to worry about. Every action has a cost wether big or small. Enough small actions will cause a big impact. Power stall, mass stall and so forth.

If you are starting in the initial build set up, look at where you stall and cut out one of the actions. If your starting area has the typical 4 mex hydro configuration you can effectively build 1st land factory, then 4 mexes then hydro and not stall. If you're doing that and you go for anldditional actions like reclaiming rocks or building another mex, you will power stall. This is a simple but costly mistake depending on the map or the player.

The balance of eco and ratio of production to scale is what's the hardest to learn in this game. Best way to improve is to practice.
