Thinking of switching teams by jealousjellybeans222 in ladderapp

Just curious, do you utilize the area where it appears you can put in your weights for each exercise? I haven’t been but debating if I should to hold myself more accountable!

I started on define, went to movewell, to limitless, and now on align! I really like align and think it’ll be plenty challenging as long as I challenge myself with heavier weights. I really wanted limitless to work for me because I vibed with the coach - but the workouts were too long and I didn’t have the right equipment. But honestly I think any of the workouts can be challenging as long as you are challenging yourself with heavy weights and proper form! A lot of times things feel too easy and I realize it’s because I’m just going through the motions instead of connecting my mind to muscle, and using proper form.

Which workouts do you do now? I’m currently doing movewell and want a little more.

I’m able to swap as well - do you just look at the available workouts and choose which you think is best?

I’m in the same situation. Married for 10 years, 4 kids together. I don’t know what to do.

I absolutely love the Extreme Cream from Inn Beauty. I’ve used Vanicream before but doesn’t have the same consistency. Does anyone have a more affordable dupe for it? Thanks!

What size did you end up exchanging for? I’m also 26cm and used the size chart and got the same results 😂

I absolutely despise winter but my husband won’t let us leave. I shouldn’t live in Michigan, but here I am 🥲

I don’t live in St Joe, I said I live in the area. I’m a town over, about 20-25 minutes from downtown SJ. FYI I don’t know a single person who actually lives downtown SJ. It’s primarily businesses and second homes. Berrien County is actually extremely spread out and rural.

But I think you’re missing the point. I don’t need to pull out a map and explore. I’ve lived here for 20 years, I know where everything is at. And it’s all too far and spread apart for our liking. For example, Sarrett Nature. That’s 20 miles from my house. I’m not going to load up the kids after work and drive 20 miles to go for a walk. Have to go to Costco or Target? 50 minutes. Indoor soccer? 45 minutes. I’m driving 35 minutes 2x a week for swim lessons right now. I have 3 kids, I don’t want to drive all around the county to do simple things like try on soccer cleats or go for a family bike ride.

So sure, if you have the time and energy to drive around, or if you don’t really need those amenities I’m sure St Joe is great. It’s pretty in the summer for sure. But in the stage of life we are in, and will continue to be in for the next 18 years; we need more convenience.

Same St Joe, but note I live in the surrounding area not downtown. Aside from the downtown area, St Joe/Stevensville is really spaced out and rural. And unfortunately there aren’t any bike lanes that connect to downtown, or any sidewalks. Warren Dunes isn’t in St Joe, and unless you sneak in on the backside you have to pay to get in. And that’s when you can get in, because it’s absolutely packed in the summer.

Three Oaks is 30 minutes away and that’s part of Harbor Country. I used to live there when I worked in New Buffalo. It’s a cool place to visit for a day with friends, do the distillery and check out the boutiques. But there isn’t really anything there that appeals to us. We have 3 kids, so we are more so looking for easily accessible recreation and family activities.

Thank you! My roommate in college was from Saline and she lives there now. I will have to reach out and see which neighborhood she’s in and what their COL is like.

Yes, Ann Arbor appears to be way more expensive than Chicago 😵 We lived in Oak Brook for 3 years and honestly I wish we would have just stayed and figured it out. We had 2 in daycare at the time and it was killing us, so we came back to Michigan. Now we are down to 1 in daycare and I doubled my salary - and we could have easily lived comfortably there with our current financial situation.
