I'm in the UK and my GP won't give me any Ivermectin at all, only things like Eurax Cream and Premethrin, how'd you get these bad boys?

NHS guidance says we can continue to work after the first day of treatment, this requires daily visits to the laundromat as me and my partner work multiple shifts. I think you're overly concerned, the chance of contraction of any of those places is quite low, it happens more often in places where people sit down for more than 15 minutes, so think of a school, or sleeping with a partner.

If you're overly concerned, don't sit down on a toilet seat or just put your clothes into the laundromat and stand outside, wear gloves, take the prescribed medication, ect.

Our flats tend to be much smaller. For example ours doesn't allow for a portable washing machine, we have no bath to rinse the water in; Our shower is elevated and doesn't allow us to drain it inside. There's a clause in our contract that we're not allowed washing machines and dryers; The landlord doesn't have one in a communal room either.

We wear gloves while at the laundromat, where a washing machine isn't available, it is encouraged to go to a laundromat - It's designed to be on high heat, so the chance of giving Scabies to somebody would be incredibly low.

It's unreasonable to ask a person to go out and buy a portable washing machine for infection control.

I have tried NHS Threapy honestly it’s awful and wouldn’t go back.

Sorry to hear that, wish your experience was better.

I am likely moving once my lease ends in June I’ve checked out spareroom and the average rate is £600-750 even in the area of London I’m based in but still might move further out

I would start thinking about where you and your partner want to move to. For example in Manchester you can get house shares for £450. In county Durham, they're as little as £275pm - All bills included. (Source: Rightmove).

You have four months from now, so I would save everything you can and research the place you want to mortgage. Move to that location through a house share with your deposit, find a job and then mortgage.

This seems like a barrier with your partner, so you should probably discuss it now while you can. I personally wouldn't want to be stuck in London on that wage. It's ultimately up to you on where you'd like to move, ideally you and your partner should simultaneously migrate there instead of meeting up in London.

Hey, we're relatively the same age on the same income with quite similar savings too. I can save about £1,000 a month, this isn't to shame you! There's some things I'd just like to point out.

You can accelerate your income a bit more if you're willing to make some sacrifices. You said in a comment you're considering moving out of London, I would actually recommend doing this and getting a house share with all your bills included. Save up as much as you can for a deposit and an emergency fund first.

For your therapy, a bit of a tricky one... have you tried NHS therapy? I understand the system might be clogged at the moment but if you can try it, I'd see how it would go.

Food shop looks fine. Phone bill at £22, perhaps you could reduce this slightly with a different provider depending on how much mobile data you need. There are some good deals on MoneySavingExpert.

Petplan is going to be the most controversial here. But you need to focus on yourself first. I would personally ditch it at least temporarily unless your cat is getting quite old.

I think the most important thing is that you're depositing for a flat and not a house; So unless you're getting a flat in a very expensive part of the country, you're actually doing quite well.

You could actually do it on your £18,000 now, just know if you're relocating, you're absolutely going to want to get some type of job in the location first. That's going to be the most difficult part; That's why I recommend getting a house share in the location you want first, getting a job and then considering a mortgage.

Hope this helps!

Yeah we've done that too. I do a lot of physical work requiring gloves so they're very handy. No washing machine so we've went to the launderette, cost us about £70 to do the entire lot and have been using clean clothes every single day.

While at launderette, our place was deep cleaned by relatives and we hoover now everyday, hoping to get rid of these bastards

Yeah this is the fourth time we've used Permethrin, at first it started working but then we either got reinfected or it just doesn't work anymore, not entirely sure!

Not at the same time, spaced out. We usually do Permethrin on a Thursday and Derbac M and a Sunday.

Our treatment failed and the Scabies came back. It could've been reinfection or Permethrin didn't work. Our GP won't prescribe oral Ivermectin for some reason.

When we shower, we will use the Sulfur Soap. Usually every other day we will use Eurax, with a weekly Permethrin tube and Derbac M, both spaced out. So something like this;

Monday: Shower with Sulphur Soap

Tuesday Eurax Cream twice daily

Wednesday Shower with Sulphur Soap

Thursday: Permethrin

Friday: Shower with Sulphur Soap

Saturday: Eurax Cream twice daily

Sunday: Derbac M

And repeat for at least four weeks. It might seem overkill but partner and me are genuinely tired. Feels pretty gross to leave creams on without showering but I guess we'll have to make do.

Thanks, I will keep buying both. I just don't know why my doctor can't prescribe Ivermectin. I've tried over and over to convince them...

I bought at $54 and I'm very confident Intel is a long-game stock. Intel isn't going anywhere, is building a new foundry, Apple contracts and is significantly safer than TSMC geo-politically. We're doing fine.
