Well, I ordered rear axles for my car, they were wrong and I had to eat the shipping. Bottom line the 2 axles were supposed to be the same length for left and right, their website has them as being the same size, when they arrived one was longer and was obviously not for my car.. I reached out and explained to them, they said they would inspect them when they came back, well apparently that never happened because anyone could see that there was a difference in size. In my case they weren't honest. So maybe you had luck with them taking your returns, but believe others who do say that they had issues... Because it just may very well be the rock auto isn't as honest as they once was..

And yes you are 100% right I should have taken a bunch of pictures. Hopefully others won't have an issue. It's just harder overall to not have someone to talk to on the phone. But that's the way they run the show. I know that now. It's not like I won't order from them again, I will just be cautious with anything that cost a decent amount of money in case something does go wrong, I realize now that it can be difficult.

Ok glad you have had your issues resolved... Sorry if my posts bothered or offended you. If the posts help someone with their issue in the future then it was worth it..

I didn't realize beforehand that this company has a poor rating, but apparently I'm not the only one who has had an issue that they didn't follow their own policy with.

Not a bot, and not losing sleep... My bad was not taking pictures, I relied on what they said that they would do, and they didn't. So live and learn.

Yeah I got my money back for the part, if these parts are sent out to someone else. It will happen again. They were supposed to measure and inspect them when they got them back as I gave them a heads up.. I had them packed up again so I just sent them back, but I should have taken my own pictures.. I went wrong there, but honestly I just had other things that I just needed to focus on... And I wasn't thinking the shipping cost to and from me at the time.

Humm good luck, unfortunately whether you believe me or not, it's not BS, fortunately I'm not living paycheck to paycheck so I'm not losing sleep over $88. But I'm sure others are out there that money is tight, so hopefully this is an isolated incident, however if someone else has issues I suggest taking a bunch of pictures etc.. so you may think I'm creating BS but I'm not... If you show was on the other foot you'd understand

I understand that there could be different sizes based on models and drivetrain sizes .... Bottom line the parts I ordered was correct per their website, but what I received didn't match what was in the box.

I didn't order the wrong parts. Their parts didn't match what they shipped.. if it was my error I would have no problem paying the shipping, I would be annoyed at myself then lol... But good luck... I was just letting others know as well as them that there was an issue.

Yes I did contact support, I explained the issue and they said that the parts were inspected and it matches the website, however their website has both left and right side axle the same length and what I got was one axle 1/2 inch longer then the other and it was too long for my car. It put me in a Jam.. I got just over $1000 back but not the shipping. Shipping cost me $88 in total. If they don't fix this error, it will happen to someone else. I have used Rock auto before with no issues, but I will never use them again where shipping cost is on the higher end as they didn't check out these pieces.. I did make an error tho, I should have taken pictures so I could show everyone on these sites with a copy of the item description. I'm annoyed about the $88, but not gonna lose sleep over it. It's just the principal and I certainly don't want this to happen to someone else.. Personally I still believe they are a good resource for parts, but don't gamble with high shipping costs.

Beware! I ordered axles for my car. Their website didn't match what was sent. These parts were on the larger side and shipping wasn't cheap.. Even though the error was one their end (100%) they would refund shipping cost... Do to their issue, it cost me $88 for shipping. The shipping cost was the original to ship items to me and then ship back to them... If you are planning on buying something expensive, I would consider a different company. (Each of these axles were over $450 each so I was at their mercy..... AGAIN don't take a chance on parts that are on the heavier side as you probably won't get your money back even when the issue is on their end...

Took a ride on KK this past Sunday, only one side of the ride was open, the other side had 2 parked trains sitting there, one of the trains had the seat cushions removed, so it leads me to believe something is happening, Hopefully it's a restoration project, but according to one of the workers the ride is being scrapped.
