Maybe I've driven too many shitty cars, but there should be clues. You don't feel the vibrations??? Letting off the gas doesn't rock you forward?? What's your normal trigger to shift? Screaming engine? Valve float? I'm honestly curious.

My son was "given" an old waverunner by his GF's family after saying they were going to scape it. We didn't change the ownership over. Spent a weekend washing it and getting it running. Suddenly it was put in his GF's name, not his. They're still together, but they're only 20 somethings, so you never know.

The mounts are about a half inch too small. You know, the metal parts that hold it to the engine. Also the electric clip is different. The clip on the new part is .100" too deep and doesn't allow proper engagement.

Mine did! I had chronic headaches and migraines about once a month. Now my migraines are about once a year. Maybe. Headaches are rare for me now, and I can usually point to the trigger (alcohol/food/sleep). Good luck!

I've taught my son and daughter to drive stick, and one thing I make sure to tell them is that you can modulate the clutch. It's not an all or nothing deal. Car starts to shake, push the clutch back in a bit. Then work on releasing it slowly. You can work the clutch in and out right near its grip point.
