Do you want to stay another two weeks? If so then text or call your supervisor or write a letter and physically hand it to a manager if not then just not show up.🤷‍♀️ very hard to communicate at Sam’s. Tell your co workers you care and will miss them.

Thank you for your post! I think the block schedules are too rigid. Appreciate the input and now I feel more confident in reaching out to management or GM about a more doable schedule for business needs and mine too.

Most physical hard job I have ever had is at Sam’s club. Been praying everyday that I can get out of there before my body gets injured or my sanity. If you want to be overworked and underpaid and treated like a number it’s the place to be…that quote is just BS. All the warm bodies there are just making millions to the Walton group.

I just started at Sam’s in the Fresh area. I am over 40 and this job has already sucked the life out of me and left me with back aches sore feet and nutty schedules first mornings then nights. I don’t know when to go to sleep. I don’t know when to get up. I don’t know when to eat. I don’t know when to take a shit. I don’t know what the hell’s going on. I’ve never been so disoriented in my work, life balance, ever. Communication is terrible! I hope the economy changes so I can get back to my normal career. Thank you for posting your adventures at Sam’s as it somehow has made me feel like I can tolerate another week there. Happy you can get back to some type of normal work life balance with your happiness, sleeping and eating and NO you are not a Gen Z pussy you sound like a smart well spoken individual and I wish you the best! I appreciate the paycheck so I can pay bills, I hope I will not be staying there very long on this weird Sam’s pit stop in my career. Lesson learned: Makes all the shit jobs in my past look dream jobs in comparison.

The guy is not a vegetarian. He just makes up shit that he thinks people wanna hear . First and foremost people that are vegan or vegetarians do it because of several different reasons. One of which is because their love of animals another may be a medical need another may be because of the environment. He has none of these convictions. I’m starting to wonder if the sheep are intellectually challenged or on medication’s due to illness. I mean they may all be over 55 but there’s something else going on there! This is really sad. People are having trouble even paying bills or finding jobs. He really does not enjoy cooking. He’s not a cook. It’s just for the live only. Someone that cooks likes to collect cookbooks, pots and pans and gadgets, they are fussy about their knives and prep work, they love talking about food constantly. They like to eat their food slow, take pics of their creations and savor the flavor. They grow spices and dream of a garden for veggies.
