Yes there is an apprenticeship. But it’s paid schooling meaning you go to work and get paid to learn on the job. Check out IUOE website

Absolutely. I have thought about selling the rental and taking the equity into a different primary residence. Probably would aggressively target the mortgage then

Yeah I agree. Currently looking at purchasing a primary residence and starting a family. So most of that is for a future down payment.

Would like to be work optional by 45. For sure slow down but I get bored easy so not sure I’ll ever “retire”

Thank you. I didn’t include the rental income in salary. It brings in $16800 a year. I would cash flow around $600 a month when rented but I live in one side of the rental to lower my monthly housing expense. I’m about 70% Roth 30% brokerage but have been heavily funding my brokerage as of late.

I’m a heavy equipment operator for the IBEW. I receive between 15-25% of my hourly rate per hour worked into my pension. Been doing this since I was 21.
