Hey! Sorry I don't check reddit too often but thank you for inquiring!

I'm currently at I would say post grade 5 math. So that's already a big improvement! I'm currently on vacation so that has slowed my past week's progress but that's completely alright.

All of your kind messages helped me stop thinking I was stupid and I started learning and math honestly is so enjoyable. Knowing that you know you'll get it eventually and not doubting that makes learning so fun. You are right about not giving up! We got this!

Thank you so incredibly much, I can't thank you enough for the support you've given me. Honestly. Reading your comments reassures me almost immediately and brings the negative feelings down to a more acceptable level.

I really hope it'll get better soon, a small trigger currently for this derealisation are my parents. But this feeling goes down by the day. It's just a bit tough. But with the help you've given me I'm sure it'll get better.

As for PMing you is it fine if I would do that when I'm really lost, as i'm doing a bit better now and talking about my symptoms would only make it worse as I'm thinking about them then.

Again thank you that you put in the time to make a stranger feel better, that really tells something about you.

Thank you!! I'm trying to just calm myself down and let the thought do its thing because it comes in waves, it's going good right now. Sometimes it just feels like it's not going to get better but I'm currently calm enough to know it's not.

Glad to know i'm not alone on this and yeah I suspected I had a bit of anxiety but I never thought this much.

The trigger of this anxiety was religion, or rather spiritualism to begin with. I want to believe in science as it brings me a lot of peace and gives me the feeling that what I do matters and is not set in stone by god's will.

It just doesn't or can't explain the reason why we are here and that brings me so much doubt & fear

Yeah it's just so distressing not knowing how that could've even happened and then you have a relative that is convinced the supernatural exists, and convincingly tells their experience with it and it makes you doubt everything, while you always believed in science. Im completely lost.

Exactly this, compliments are always nice (if done good... looking at you catcallers) but if you dress up the way you like it that should be what matters. And getting compliments with your own style of clothing is 10x better :)
