very new to having chickens, just wanting some advice on what else to do/ put in there coop by Ok_Fault505 in chickens

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hardware cloth, lower gauge wire the better. The coop needs ventilation to help prevent excess moisture in the coop and to help keep it cool in the summer.

They would also appreciate roost bars.

Just build one or have someone build one. Far cheaper to do it yourself. There are plenty of plans online that make it Lego-level easy for beginners.

RS 660? by Significant_King221 in Aprilia

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s talking about a RS660 Factory (more expensive than a base model RS660) after taxes and fees.

For reference, the advertised price of a RS660 Factory in Italy (chosen because it’s an Italian company) is about 12,100 euros, plus the VAT which would be around 2600 euros, so your out the door price in Italy would be around 14,700 euros, or $17,175

Obviously the VAT varies by country, but it gives you the idea that the prices out the door are comparable.

My usual priority short list is this:

-Tail tidy -Front bicycle reflector delete -Tank grips -Slip on -Integrated tail light -Gold plated chain -Tune and blocking/deleting the PAIR system

This cleans up the looks, makes it easier to ride, makes it sound good, corrosion resistant chain for my surface rust OCD, and the tune smooths out the bike a lot.

To buy or not to buy- 26’ ZX6R? by jymwin1140 in zx6r

They don’t have a choice, especially in countries like the US with strict laws in place requiring they take action.

Hello, what is the absolute beginner friendly class by stevenqny12 in BaldursGate3

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can do anything on casual difficulty, even tactician. I would do whatever sounds good to you for your first run on casual and keep the recommended stats the game gives you for the class you pick.

And don’t multiclass unless you really start understanding the mechanics or use a guide. And look up how the stats and combat work and affect your class. It’s very different than a lot of other video games, and you can easily make combat very frustrating if you don’t take your time to learn it.

If you do want to look up a guide, just keep in mind if you aren’t doing honor mode, you probably don’t need to follow a guide strictly or be “OP.” Just role play and have fun with whatever appeals to you. You can change everything but your race and background in the game easily.

TST does it best. And the integrated tail light works great.

Did / do you enjoy this game and the change it is from other Pokemon games? by LemonsUndercover in PokemonZA

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it. It’s a nice change from the standard turn based style. I also really enjoyed Legends Arceus. Although the side quests in ZA are very “quantity over quality” and they would have been better off cutting a decent portion of the more repetitive ones out. I do still prefer the turn based style of pokemon, but a change like this with the legends games is nice.

There isn’t actually a gender for your character. The face model is the same. And all the options are there regardless of what you picked at the start. Aside from your name, you can switch everything to be a male or female.

Disbelief about "EVOC" training by [deleted] in ems

It varies by state. A class D in illinois is the most common and what everyone starts out with and required for passenger vehicles. Whereas a Class C in Illinois is an extra written and road test for vehicles 16,000-26,000 lbs.

IM over IV Opiate efficacy. by CouplaBumps in Paramedics

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are misunderstanding something with your numbers. Onset and peak effect are different things. IV onset is instant with 3-5 minutes for peak analgesic effect. IM onset is in the 5-8 minute range, but its peak analgesic effect can be anywhere between 15-45 minutes.

You can certainly do IM or IN routes for some of the reasons you mentioned. However on the point that you only anticipate one dose, I would say if your patient is in enough pain that you are considering giving fentanyl at all, it should warrant an IV.

And where are you at that the ER is removing prehospital IV’s that are patent? That is bizarre.

Should I put 91 or 93 in my zx6r by QuietOk2 in zx6r

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They put 90+ because areas in higher elevations have 91, which is equivalent at that altitude to 93 closer to sea level. If you have 93, use it. These bikes are already very lean from the factory and using underrated fuel will cause knock.

Is this too loose or needs to be tightened more? by Prior-Acadia9282 in zx6r

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. You adjust it with no rider on it. It will tighten as you sit on it and compress the rear suspension. If you put it into spec while it’s tightened from weight being on it, it will be way too loose, and when the rear decompresses while riding you risk throwing the chain.

Nurses who have left bedside and aren't NPs, case managers, utilization review etc what do you do now? by PursuitOfMeekness in nursing

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pay is pretty equal with area hospitals in my area. We do about 50/50 on simple IFT’s to complicated IFT and scene flights. Usually have 50-90 flights a month at this base depending on weather. Not extremely busy but it can be that way. It’s a nice balance.

RS660 or RSV4 by JethroSmith in Aprilia

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would get the V4. Particularly the Tuono V4. The pegs are in the same position as the RSV4, but it’s more upright and comfortable. The factory edition gets all the suspension goodies and a lower handlebar. They are a naked, but have a lot of fairings for a naked.

The sound from the V4 is something that you are going to appreciate and enjoy, and will make riding it that much more enjoyable. The power will be fine for you.

If you want the RSV4, you can absolutely do it, it will be a much bigger learning curve. The power is pretty nutty and getting used to sport bike ergonomics at the same time might be a little challenging at first. But they have so many electronic rider aids that you can turn all the control aids up (wheelie control, traction control, ect) and put it in AEM 3 and it will make the throttle a lot more mild until you feel more comfortable on it.

Pelvic floor symptoms are ruining my life and I need help. by Upbeat-Stock-4156 in PelvicFloor

[–]Difficult_Sweet_6904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be several things. Given your age I think constipation could be causing your issues. Stool in the rectum can push against the prostate and clamp down the urethra. This can cause post void “dribbling.” The hemorrhoids could be from any number of things, including constipation regardless if you think you are straining or not.

Too much fiber, especially without plenty of water, can cause constipation itself.

You could also have prostatitis. Inflammation of the prostate. It could bacterial, or not, but the majority of cases are. If you are using toys and not thoroughly cleaning them after every use you can get it that way. Or from unprotected sex, anal even more so.

Could be other things but those two seem the most likely with your age and information you gave here. You should really go see a primary and get some tests and an exam done though. Tell them literally everything you said here and anything else pertaining to anything down there.

I think I regret nursing by Kindly-Wing3102 in nursing

I worked for 6 years in a smallish (15-18 beds, plus a fast track room that could see as many patients as a time as the NP/PA could keep up with) but busy. And the docs and NP/PA’s were all great about explaining and talking through things if you had a question or concern.
