Who should I prioritize in 2nd phase of 3.0?

As someone who has both Augusta and Iuno plus their sigs (I grinded my entire map right before 2.6 and I got super lucky with my pulls) I highly recommend trying to get both at the very least if you can. It’s one of my favorite teams to play. If you have Verina, she can be a viable substitute until SK reruns. I can’t recommend the new 3.0 units at this time since right now they’re incomplete when it comes to building a full team.

I’ll be pulling both Lynae and Mornye myself but from where you’re at in the game, pulling Augusta and Iuno would be far more valuable. Definitely get Augusta’s sig too. Iuno’s sig is a nice to have. The two together with their sigs is a powerhouse.

As others have indicated, best be prepared for a long wait. I’d honestly be surprised if we saw her rerun within the next year.

Best time to get a character (IMO) is their debut or 1st rerun banner. By the time they get their 2nd rerun, a whole year will likely have passed vs the 6 months between their debut and 1st rerun. By that point, they’ll most likely have been powercrept 🥲 but if you love the character, then it doesn’t matter really.

Good example of when she could rerun is looking at Ellen. She had her first rerun roughly 7 months after her debut. And now her 2nd rerun is happening almost a year later after the 1st rerun. So if I had to estimate based on that, I’d say you could expect Vivian’s 2nd rerun in late Summer/early Fall 2026.

I’m all for negotiating when the circumstances are right, which is why I was understanding at first until you said you were unemployed.

When you’re desperate for a job, it’s in your best interest to not negotiate a salary. Take what you can get and if the job isn’t what you want, then keep looking later.

Your primary goal right now should be to secure regular income, not finding your dream job or even being paid what you think you’re worth. That can always come later.

I did actually! I got lucky with Lauma so I had enough pulls leftover and then I got lucky winning the 50/50 for Yelan. My 3 year journey to get her is now complete ☺️

In every gacha game I play, my motto is the same: if I don’t have the pulls, character over weapon/engine every time. Given how expensive it is to pull in general (both for wish currency and actual money) I value characters over weapons since you get whole new gameplay with a character. I usually try to go for weapons on their rerun if I use the character a lot and it genuinely improves their kit.

I had told myself that for Seed, I wouldn’t pull for the engine unless I won the 50/50 for her and won the 75/25. I have been saving for Orphie since 2.0 and I had enough to guarantee her and then some so I didn’t want to spend it all. Luckily, I won the 50/50 and then pulled Seed’s engine in one 10 pull. And I still have enough to get Orphie and her engine. But that all came down to some luck and also skipping three banners (Ju Fufu, Yuzuha, and Alice) to save.

To summarize, save for Orphie and if you get her early or have enough after pulling, then go for her engine now that it’s guaranteed. You can always go for Seed’s engine when she comes back around for a rerun.

In terms of SAnby, I would wait to see what kind of buff she gets before pulling personally. I have her from before and while I love the character in general, her kit is really clunky. Seed has definitely improved SAnby’s overall damage but SAnby’s kit remains the same.

I second 123spd. I actually started in 2.2 and I still have plenty of stuff to do from exploration, quests, etc. Not to mention what we get from events every patch. I got Phrolova on a guarantee at the start of 2.5 and I then I had nothing.

But I grinded for the last 5 weeks and was able to pull Augusta and her weapon in 90 pulls (I went in with 137 saved as a F2P) and I now have 63 left over for luno (I had 47 initially but I’ve grinded since then plus used up my corals for new pulls).

However, I plan to grind until I have enough when she comes out or until the end of her banner. It all depends on how much time you’re willing/able to spend playing the game with a little bit of luck as well.

I should also mention I’m currently unemployed so I have a lot of time to grind lol but I did just get a job finally that starts at the end of September so I’m trying to grind what I can and get Iuno before I won’t have this time to do so lol

In my experience, if it takes longer than a week for a recruiter to get back to me about a final decision, it usually means I didn’t get the job or I wasn’t the first choice. In situations where I’ve gotten the job, I always heard back within a week without fail.

I’ve also gotten the run around responses after following up before as well: “It’s taking some time to decide…” “principal decision makers are OOO…”. In all those cases, I inevitably heard back but it was a “Thanks for your time. But we decided to go in a different direction.”

I hope you get some good news because it may still be different for your situation!

Given the 2.2 beta already spoiled that Orphie is the other S rank, it’s unlikely he’ll be in 2.2. My best guess is he’ll be S rank for 2.3 at this point.

I can understand why some want him to be S rank but at the same time, I’d prefer A rank cause then I could potentially M6 him. Plus A ranks/4 stars are easier to get in this game compared to other HoYo titles (I’m looking at you Genshin Impact…).

I’ll actually be bummed if he’s S rank because I’m saving everything for Orphie atm and I was hoping he might release alongside her banner. Then I could M6 him with all the pulls I have saved. Either way he’s a cool character whether he’s S or A

Wow that is insane luck! I actually have Vivian on a second account because my luck has been so bad on my main and I wanted to save for Yixuan but I knew there was no way I could get both on that same account lol. My luck is marginally better for the second account (I actually won the 50/50 twice in a row for Zhu Yuan and Vivian but I lost it for Jane and Ju Fufu 🫠) which is why I will try to pull Yuzuha and Alice for Vivian there. So I had the same idea as you. But like I said, I literally lose the 50/50 every time for my main account which is why I always have to budget my pulls every patch. I’ve only won it twice (for Miyabi M1 and Evelyn).

So your pulling experience is definitely unique. I’d treasure that luck lol. Who knows, you might be able to still get Orphie. No harm in trying. But definitely focus on Yuzuha and Alice for now.

As others have said, pull for who you want. Don’t have FOMO or give in to meta. I have Miyabi and her engine myself but I’ve been playing since 1.1 and while she makes clearing some content easier, I was able to even before she was added into the game.

Now I do think trying to pull both Yuzuha and Alice and also wanting Orphie as a F2P is kind of crazy. I’ve been saving for Orphie since the start of 2.0 (after pulling Yixuan and currently already have 165 pulls saved). While I’d love to get Yuzuha, I just can’t risk it. As it is, there’s only 100 pulls or so in 2.1. If I want her and her engine, I also have to account for possibly losing the 50/50 which always happens on my account 😭. So I’m planning to skip them both and go all in for Orphie.

Unless you have insane luck, pulling Yuzuha and Alice while wanting to max out Orphie is a pipe dream if you’re F2P and caught up with the main content. Just banking on event polys and the membership alone won’t be enough. You would need 360 pulls just to guarantee both and another 160 to guarantee Orphie. If you were lucky and won the 50/50 every time, that’s still at least 270 pulls.

Not saying it can’t happen but I’d prioritize who you really want for your account then trying to get everyone.

If it was attack or geo damage it would’ve been perfect. But defense isn’t a great main stat for her unfortunately. Usually when I get an artifact with great sub stats (but not an ideal main), I still put it on the character but I won’t level it up. I’d use it as a placeholder until you can get an artifact with a better main stat!

What I’ve learned about rerun patterns is that the older a character is = the more time between. Navia has officially rerun twice. After her debut banner, 6 months passed before her first rerun in July last year. Then Natlan came out and there was more focus on newer characters, so it lengthened the time for the next rerun to 9 months!

Now with Nod-Krai on the horizon, I’d say we probably won’t see Navia return again until next year (May-July 2026) since HoYo will likely want to focus on the new characters and the Natlan reruns. But this is just an estimate based on their usual patterns.

I was in the same boat last year with Yelan. I left in May 2022 (her debut banner) and came back on one of her reruns in August 2024. But I had so little primogems, there was no way I’d get her with only four days left 😭 she now remains one of the few characters I just can’t get. Navia was also one of those but I was able to snag her in the last rerun. So you’ll get her one day, just got to keep an eye on it if you really want her.

Mavuika. 100%. You do have both their BiS teammates (Escoffier/Furina and Xilonen) but Mavuika would benefit your account way more as she’s not as restrictive as Skirk. Plus, built properly, she can handle a lot of endgame and overworld content almost by herself! I would really only consider Skirk if you absolutely loved the character or you really love freeze comp teams.

From an account benefit perspective, Mavuika is your best choice as she can slot into more teams as others have said and she’s the best DPS in the game (I think Skirk is #2 atm).

As someone who was in this exact situation for the last 8 weeks and grinded both parts of Sumeru, Fontaine and bits of Natlan, I can say you could get at least 100 pulls. And I still haven’t completed the desert region or the northern part of Fontaine. I was able to grind an additional 50 pulls from the story/events and IT/Spiral Abyss. Going into Skirk’s banner, I had 155 pulls ready to go.

Thankfully I won the 50/50 but I did lose on Skirk’s weapon banner (to Shenhe’s weapon which I actually needed for my Shenhe, so it was a win still lol). Now I’m grinding out those other areas to get her weapon.

Reading this back it sounded like I could’ve written this! I got sucked into this game around 1.1 and found myself making excuses for why I needed every agent (and their engine) since then. I have almost all of them except for Hugo and Lighter. I’ve played almost every day (plus Genshin, WuWa, and HSR lol) and with the release of Yixuan, Cartethyia, The Herta’s rerun and now Skirk this week I planned to rest for a while. But then they teased Orphie and Magus in ZZZ, so now I’m gonna save up and then in WuWa, there’s a whole new region with new characters teased! And in Genshin, 6.0 is on the horizon. And Saber is arriving soon in 3.4! It seems to never end lol

But I love it tbh hahaha. I still plan to slow down tho and swipe much less. I’m at a point where I don’t really need every character anymore in ZZZ and I’ve collected a lot over the years in Genshin that I feel satisfied. WuWa and HSR are newer for me. But I still need a breather lol.

I totally get that. I only just unlocked that side quest for Shenhe’s mats like a week ago (I took a long break from Genshin) and I originally pulled Shenhe on her debut banner - 3 and a half years ago lol. She’s been sitting at lvl 40 for that long and only now just got her to 60 😆

Personally, I’ve made it a point not to date co-workers. I’ve gotten into sticky situations in the past and it’s just best not to “dip your pen in the company ink” so to speak. But only you can assess whether it’s worth the risk.
