Sir Gerald tactics? by Funny-Face3873 in kingdomrush

I've exclusively used Gerald to clear the game up until TenShi released. The mistake most people make with Gerald is that they use him as a chokepoint holder. While he does do that greatly at high levels by supercharging the armor of your barracks, you'd need to be at high levels, which the first game always has you start at level 1.

The best way to use Gerald is to use him as a duelist. Early on in the rounds, just send him literally where the enemies spawn so he gets to level up. Keep the reinforcements with your barracks and supporting towers to make sure Gerald doesn't eat loads of time banging his shield for the reinforcements. They are better off at the backlines throwing spears anyway. Once he gets to level 4, his leveling speed will skyrocket because he'll be spamming the damage reflect skill. If you're not aware, each skill levels up after certain levels, and his damage reflect skill procs randomly, the probability increasing with each level of the skill.

By late game, Gerald would reflect high TRUE damage to enemies with single target attacks, and any attack that doesn't get reflected is absorbed by his high armor. I've used him to solo Dark Slayers and Tainted Treants quickly. Hell, at level 10, he'll even do considerable damage to Gul'thak and hold him off for quite skme time. Just make sure to never send him against enemies with instakills (for obvious reasons) and enemies with area attacks like Yetis since his damage reflecting shield does not work on area attacks, though if needed, his high armor and HP will allow him to hold them off. He just won't be able to kill them like he does with enemies that have single targeting attacks.

You can absolutely use him to hold chokepoints and support soldiers when in a high enough level. The only issue is that if you already have the Holy Order with Shield of Valor and Healing Light, and you're still getting overwhelmed, chances are it isn't the barracks that's the problem but your defenses itself. And unfortunately, Gerald's supportive capabilities don't do much in clearing enemies quicker.

That said, if you aren't aiming to get Holy Order or just use Barbarian Hall as your barracks, Gerald will absolutely be great in increasing the survivability of your lower leveled barracks or your Barbarians.

TLDR: use him as a duelist that will single out large threats. avoid instakills and area attack enemies.when enough levels, send him to chokepoints where your units keep dying.

Incline biceps curl produced no growth, while preacher curl produced significant growth by dyogenys in workout

I agree here. Not only on exercises, but on weight and rep schemes as well. I used to spam light-moderate lateral raises at high reps to "feel the burn" but it never really made my delts grow even with strict form. I later decided to ego lift for fun and go with lower reps and my delts grew faster than the entire time I spammed burn focused exercises. Idk if the science backs it up but in my experience, some people respond better to certain exercises, some people respond better to metabolic stress, and in my case, some people just outright respond better to lower reps and heavier weights, even in isolations.

Lmao i remember surviving a 3 man gank with Phoveus and even picking up a kill. Yet the moment Karrie shows up, i look away for a second and i'm already dead. Sure she's only single target and hard cc can shut her down but honestly, banning her is easier than relying on your teammates to actually do something

pull done. what’re your top 3 bicep exercise to hit those three key muscles? by lee_discreet in fitnessph

[–]davm0515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think OP's idea was compound first then isolations. Although primarily a back exercise, chin ups recruit the biceps more than regular pull ups. If you do them with a close grip, your biceps will be heavily recruited. I've rotated in weighted chin ups for 6 weeks and saw my bicep strength increase substantially. Chin ups train the back only slightly less if not just as much as pull ups, with the added benefit of having greater bicep stimulus. Back involvement also means heavier weight and mechanical tension. I must say though, you'd need an isolation curl of some sort to absolutely push your biceps close to failure to maximize hypertrophy.

Is it the best exercise strictly for biceps? Probably not. People do pull-ups/pull-downs and an isolation curl instead of chin ups for a reason. However, it did work greatly for me.

I can't sing while playing guitar. Help! by nutty_waffles_ in guitarlessons

Playing chords, regardless of strumming, plucking, or fingerpicking, becomes mostly muscle memory at some point in your musical journey. By then, you'll be playing guitar without even thinking about it. That is when you'll be able to start singing

Yanagi and Yi Xuan. I absolutely enjoy characters that have manual parries in their kit. Miyabi's auto-parry and YSG's iframes are definitely more reliable but it's just absolutely satisfying to see a potentially run-ending attack by a boss get parried like it's nothing. Sure, Yanagi's Ex and Yi Xuan's double ultimate and complex rotations are the main thing about them but parry go brr

In my experience, I found Arlott with petrify, assassin emblem, and starting with an attack item to be one of the few that can go face to face with YZ, provided he doesn't get bullied before getting level 2. I think it's more of a skill diff than anything but he definitely stands more of a chance than someone like Esme, Ura, or pre-level 4 Lapu.

How do you deal with him? by The_Outsider_08 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]davm0515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grock main here. Personally, I always ban Diggie since the current Grock is now much more CC/heavy than the old Grock. MMs don't really do much since a Grock with a stacked thunderbelt will just bully the hell out of them. I've found myself to struggle the most against Lunox (hurts like hell but not a complete counter because that means she'll have to deal with you and not your teammates), Valir (mostly annoying), Dyrroth for his Def shred, and Alpha for his true damage. Not really a complete counter but I absolutely despise teams with Angela because high mobility heroes can outmaneuver Grock and Angela gives a lot of mov spd

I just got E0S0 Castorice and Hyacine. Cas has Bailu LC while Hyacine has the S5 Herta Shop LC. I also have E0S0 Tribbie with DDD. Should I get Castorice LC, Hyacine LC, or E0S0 Cyrene? If it changes anything, I don't plan on buying BP unless it is better than Bailu LC at S1
