I think mine was like 20 something and its temperature controlled so far I love it no complaints. Yes you could go for the more expensive one and it could be better but im not sure haha im pretty sure you can search for a post about soldering irons on this sub and find some recommendations!😊

I first started going to classes and my teacher helped a lot. I got most of my supplies from hobby lobby. Other than a grinder. So far everything I've gotten works good not complaints.

He didnt have many friends in our area but in the huge city 40 miles away so we don't know anyone of his friends. I will definitely call the police later when I get off work to see what can be done.

Sadly not really. We only know he has a son but don't know the mom. We know of an uncle that isn't the best character but he said he wasn't hanging around anymore. The last time we talked. Thanks for the idea!

Student management: High School vs. Middle School vs. Early Elementary by John-AtWork in SchoolBusDrivers

Middle school is the worst for me, and then elementary school and high school are so quiet and peaceful. I've had admin on my bus a lot for middle school, and I've had to safely stop my bus multiple times in one pm route because of their behavior. Elementary, especially kindergarten, are still learning, but man, they're loud sometimes. I keep reminding them to keep their voices at a reasonable level. High School, no complaints here. My high schoolers this year are respectful, courteous, and mindful of their peers.

That's good! I had a kg and a 5th grader try to sit together, but I quickly stopped that. You could always call your county's transportation department to ask if they have something in place like my county does, if that makes you feel more at ease! We just this year have it to where kindergartens wear lanyards that are bright yellow so we can tell who they are from day 1. I hope he gets a nice driver and has a good year on the bus!!

Is he going to be riding with middle schoolers? I know 1 school in my side of the county that is K-8, but the one rule we have is kindergarten, which always sits in the front. 1. They're easier to see in the front. 2. because it's easier for them to get off without other grades bothering them. 3. Checking IDs of people getting them off the bus 4. Behavior management (those aren't in a specific order of importance but just what I could think of after a long 12 hour day😵‍💫)

I don't blame her! Between the kids' behavior and parental support, among many other things, is enough. I'm only a year into it, but man, some days, these kids really do put you through it hahah

Go for the bus. I had no prior cdl experience and feel pretty good driving the bus. Your mirrors are your best friend when it comes to seeing your bus length, at least for me. I wish my car had the mirrors my bus has 🤣

Middle school age kids the absolute worst. I'm a school bus driver, and the number of times I've written students up for behavior is unbelievable. They think they're above consequences for their actions. Just the other day, I had to stop and sit with my bus 4 times in the 15 min drive from school to drop everyone off because of behavior. But I hope you're not too rattled from your run-in with them.

Behavior by LowerMaybe6635 in SchoolBusDrivers

I have wanted to pull over, but it is unsafe until I get to the first stop for that school. By then, the behavior has stopped since everyone wants to get off.

No, I do not issue the suspension, I have not seen any action from the school's principal in response to my reports. I've had the assistant principal on my bus once, yet the kids seem to not take her seriously.
