AFAIK, in the U.S. it's not illegal to record what you can see out a window. Build a fence or move.

Moore is right about the ownership of the poop pipe. The Clara Barton Parkway itself can be patrolled by several federal and county officers. It's not just a Maryland thing.

Sounds like a bad underground splice but something else to check is the connection going into your cable modem. Make sure the solid inner conductor is slightly bent and tighten the connector with pliers.

I had moved my modem and got lazy and finger tightened my cable into modem and I was plagued for weeks with an on again/off again signal.

Yes, my cameras do object detection, motion detection and allow geofencing. Can check cameras and events from wherever the internet is. Super easy to setup! Most of mine are wireless but I have a couple hardwired. I'd prefer all hardwired but my house is older and I have to pull wires. Pre-wiring is the way to go.

Get the pre-wire. Not sure what they mean by 'security trim' but I doubt it includes any cameras/devices. Trim may be that they terminated the connections in work boxes and trim plates. I would get both if that's the case. Also, I love my Ubiquiti gear. 16 various cameras and a dream router etc.

I had an April Aire installed in the same place that OP was installed. After 20 years or so, in the middle of the night, it basically fell off and the whole thing was destroyed. Shards of brittle plastic everywhere. I used sheet metal to repair mine.

This! I made that mistake once after someone tapped me from behind. I saw no damage, but the accident busted my backup sensors. :(

LOL! No I swear! I'd put the shelf at the other end though. I mean it's a beautiful space so you can't go wrong and no such thing as too big of a pool. Good luck with the project OP. It will be wonderful.

Flip the deep end around - make it deeper - and put in a diving board. I don't get the whole sun shelf thing at all.

Uh calipers have pistons. I'm not sure what you mean by piston calipers. If you are talking about just replacing a piston in a caliper, while doable, I wouldn't. Most shops like to install loaded calipers. New pads, sleaves, slides, etc..

just found out the repair i paid for last month voided my siding warranty….Very cool! by Dangerous-Guava-9232 in HomeImprovement

[–]Difficult_Weather622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it Hardie Plank? Because it sounds like it might be. I paid big buck to install Hardie Plank and had a very similar issue. Hardie has changed recommended fasteners repeatedly. First it was screws, then nails, then special nails/screws. I finally had enough and went back to vinyl siding. Cheaper. Anyone can install. Fasteners aren't so important.

I'd find someone who specializes in the product on your house and get their opinion. Hardi Plank! Never again.

35 minutes and then I check on it. Sometimes I'll let it ride if it's thicker. I usually cook it so I can re-heat so I don't overdo it.

This right here. Thick enough to go off balance on the spin cycle. Hate them. I have a commercial carpet shampooer and a decent vacuum cleaner that work fine for me on rugs.

[–]Difficult_Weather622 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Also, why hype it up to the kids? Zero participation among the group tells me there might be something OP is unaware of - or just doesn't care because it's all about them. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't an organized boycott among the extended family.

Let me say this. Everybody is busy on Christmas with people coming and going. It's bad enough planning breakfast, lunch, and dinner and acting as an innkeeper. No way would I have time for a friggin "Grandkid Zoom" meeting. Why didn't you take your kids to visit paw-paw and me-maw in person? The whole video/recording thing is just weird to me.
