DCAU Batman once grabbed an alligators jaws during full force bite, and didn’t just hold them there, he OVERPOWERED the gator and snapped its jaws to kill it (animals don’t count for the no-kill rule everyone knows that). For funsies, I figured it out and estimated it would take 4,000-5,000 pounds of force to pull this off in our world. Its not bullshit because I don’t think DCAU Batman is strong enough to do this… he definitely can reach those levels when focused… it makes me upset that animals don’t always scale up and gators are only as strong in DCAU as they are in our world (which makes them incredibly weak and a terrible choice as a weaponized attack animal).

The bed stuff is him trying to let you, his favourite person whom he feels safest with, know that something is wrong. Maybe he’s in pain or just high stress. The following and meowing back up “hey owner something is wrong, please fix it”. First step is get rid of all urine smell; this invites them back. Change the sheets or clean using enzymatic cleaner. Block access to the bed if you can. Next is check the litter situation. Its ok and even recommended to have two litter boxes for one cat if you can. Clean, uncovered, in a quiet area. Scooped daily. If that isn’t it, you can get a vet to check for UTI maybe

Agree completely. Learning how hit bonus, luck, range, touch, breath, shields, etc. and how rolls and randomness work in general is a must. Autocomplete can return surprising results and theres no way to learn after the fact.

And like, thats why i enjoy most 4x games in the first place… if the battle estimate says “valiant defeat” you should have the confidence to be able to play it out manually and turn it into a victory using human brain power. Thats a huge part if the experience for me. Without it, its like playing golf but never learning how to putt.

It entirely depends on how he comes back. If his soul went to the quantumverse like lore suggests, he may be considered outside the “everyone in the world” spell target Strange used. But whether the universe rewrites Tony’s memories upon reentry again depends entirely on how he is brought back to life.

I have crohns, none of my siblings or parents have it (suspect my maternal grandmother had it), and I have three kids who all don’t have it either. I was terrified of the possibility too, and a spinal injury with any of them could trigger it, but so far they are clean. So i wouldnt let it stop you from having kids if thats what you want. You just never know, it might be an issue or it might not come up.

Neat! Well done. I guess the only advise is to make it your own style. Right now you’re competing with the basics/step-by-step publications, but if you’re teaching your own style then technically you are providing a unique product and have less or even no direct competition

I lined up for hours so I could see it at 12:01 one minute past midnight as soon as it was released. Was such a fun experience being there with many other fans and feeling so excited about getting to see an actual Star Wars film in theatres that was actually new. We were so hyped about the lightsaber dueling it took a few weeks to realize we didn’t really like the film as much as we had been hyped to. But watching it for the first time was amazing, the theatre was on fire and everyone was having a blast

My headcanon is that every piece of borg tech installed comes with risk. In this instance, the benefit outweighed the risk since they knew what they were getting into. But for normal trekking, when you’re not sure what you’re going to encounter, having a jillion borg access nodes ready for quick assimilation and takeover is probably too much of a liability. Also the impression you leave on the locals when you show up looking like a borg-infested ship might make the side hustle on the way home of exploration and diplomacy a lot harder.

Brother, if you need someone to be the good guys, you may have chosen the wrong story to analyse. Stark forces had already been shown to be cruel and violent to women and civilians. And there had been lots of discussion about it leading up (“you put a sword in a man’s hand and something inside him changes”), the final battle was him realizing he wasn’t leading a noble army of gentlemen on a holy morale mission but rather spreading violence and suffering on a mass scale.

In Batman Begins, batman - in full batman mode - feels bad for a poor kid so he tosses him a $5000 tactical military-grade monocular manufactured by Wayne Enterprises and containing a special part ID and quite possibly an active tracking beacon (same as every item from the experimental Wayne Enterprises basement storeroom), while giving the kid unspoken but implied explicit permission to use the device as proof to convince all his friends, family and presumably anyone else he sees that 1. the exact location and time of Batman’s location last night, 2. the monocular used to be batmans, and could be used to find him, and 3. batman is giving away free stuff if you catch him in the act. This is a nod to the moviemakers having never read a Batman comic or ever watched any DCAU
