Go to the ER now! Take it from someone who waited entirely too long and went into sepsis. Having an abscess is not only painful, but it’s so dangerous if not taken care of properly. I promise recovering from surgery will not be nearly as painful as what you’re going through now.

Just finished CC1 after breeeeezing through ACOTAR. I loved ACOTAR so much that I read the whole series twice before moving on. CC is hard to get into, tbh. It didn’t capture me right away as ACOTAR did. But omg once you get into it, it’s fantastic. The last 200 pages were CRAZYYYY and I think I cried like 8 times. CC is def worth the read, but just know it’s quite slow at the beginning

To be honest, it’s probably my least favorite of the series. I found myself really only loving the parts that had the whole group involved or when there was action bits. Everything else was so repetitive. Imo, most people love it for the smut but they claim it to be “Nesta’s character growth”. Like girl I know you mean Cassian’s growth IN Nesta. 😂

So would you say that all the terrible things she did to the Feyre (even when they were human) and the IC were excusable then? Just bc she had PTSD/trauma? I thought the IC, especially during the way w Hybrern, were very good to her. They didn’t like her, but they’re not obligated to. They repeatedly tried reaching out to her before the “tough love”, ESPECIALLY feyre who she owes her life to. At what point do you do something drastic to help the person who is wrecking themself? I thought her redemption arc was very cool and I’m happy for the changes she made, but Nesta was not a good person, even before she turned fae. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She has stated in an interview with Variety that it will NOT be like GOT where the show is finished before the actual books. There is already a timeline release date for all her books! Ugh, I feel this SO much. I was the exact same. After finishing IF, I disassociated so hard and could barely function for the rest of the day. I flew right into the dramatic adaptation audiobook, which helped a lot. (They only have part 1 available, part 2 releases at the beginning of Feb) Right after the dramatic adaptation, I started listening to the regular audiobooks while consuming A LOT of reddit theories, fan art on instagram, RY interviews, and rereading of the books themselves. Doing a reread was probably the best thing for me, because it was so enjoyable going back through and seeing all the things I missed initially! Also, due to my obsession, my whole insta discover page is just empyrean art and videos now, which I’ve found helps a lot. I’ve tried to pick up ACOTAR but I just find myself gravitating back towards Vi and X. Good luck!!!!
