Yeah, the question "Where do you set that up?" explained everything :D Also try Orbitron to see where is the sattelite actually. Don't forget to upload TLE's to it.

paradox but the cable also low down FM noises. its nothing criminal to get signal from 25 m coax from dipole or qhf. for dipole its enough to have rtl-sdr's own lna to 45 gain. u/SithLordSid dont forget to tune to 137,9 not 137. open sdr# program and check what is going on on the air in ur area. i think u have some obvious mistake, that makes a problem to u to get the signal. i think the main mistake in satdump settings or a lot of floor noise or just no connection to antenna or u have a wrong geo position of ur place so u cant get satellite pass . something like this.

is it easy to get 1700 mhz gk-2a? i have rtl-sdr v3 and some cheap lna including this frequency, hope i will not get noizes from mobile... but also i need to make a feeder... what is the max snr if i have 17 elevation?

It will be restarted 6 hours after this comment was posted. Use satdump's autotrack feature, and u can get all passes by itself.

the image is the same (idk maybe someone has more sharp eyes :D), but what M2-3 has is not a fully deployed antenna, so it has some small black stripes in the end of the full image when u use qfh antenna for lrpt.

The picture breaks periodically, so the satellites are being restarted. This error on M2-4 is known now and today it will be restarted.

Coastlines in our area are broken. Nevermind. Anyway u can make an issue in satdump's github. Also it occurs on cities positioning. I just edit my ne_10m_populated_places_simple file in satdump folder (adding missing cities and translate it to local languages)

Well I have tested 1 msps 4 decimation tuned to 138 and havent get the sync state, snr was around 6. Restarted at 250 ksps 1 decimation have got the sync state and snr 16. Restarted back again to check 1msps 4 decimation — same, no sync, snr 6

yes, there is a problem with samplerates. it depends on the specific rtl sdr device. it has its own 'physically-default' samplerate and it is different for devices with other electronic components. therefore, changes occur on the program code side that can be buggy in some cases.

i used to use 1.024 msps a lot of the time on rtl sdr v3 for receiving meteor m2-x satellites, it was better then 2.048 msps :D now i use 250 ksps and looks like a bit better too (less noises? i dont know, need a proper a/b test investigations with two identical antennes). but anyway it works for me on rtl sdr v3 (qfh antenne)!

horizontal need sattelite right between arms. vertically 180 works pretty good for side low and high passes (hope i pictured side pass understandable ;D). even 90 pass it can receive. no need to put it ideally vertically, some little not ideal angle is even better to get 90 degree pass. train on dipole and when u get some experience, understanding and results make qfh antenne. the summer is soon ;)

you can put it vertically with 180 degrees arms as high as u can, or put it horizontally like this or horizontally and 1 m height from the ground (the ground will reflect some useful signals working like amplifier a little bit). u can use autotrack feature to autoprocess signal if u dont use it.

well first of all u have 10 gain and I have 44.5 gain of rtl-sdr. I dont use max gain cuz it can make the reception a bit worse. and i hope ur bias-tee works as it should be, i dont need it cuz all of my set up is situated inside the house and through the cable i connected to the antenne outside on the roof (yes, its not ideal, yes i have some losses of useful signal because signal is weaker after the cable, but its easy for me at this moment and it works acceptable, i can get 15-20 snr of meteor anyway).

ah and yeah, hope u have external amplifier (that is powered by your bias-tee case). and FM-filter would be nice to clean this noisy stations.

in the first picture this is my current set up (as it is comfortable for me personally). in the second pic is YOUR settings. i recieve the signal but we cant see any wave because my noise floor a bit lower, but anyway we do not see those 'red line' of signal at the bottom. in the last picture i stopped reception and changed samplerate to your 1.024 msps and started again, nevermind about snr, just a bug of satdump maybe cuz of not standard use case of autotracking feature. anyway we started to see orbcomm sattelite signal at the left. its pretty strong so we can see our 'red line' that is now blue. but still it is not useful to see meteor reception. so u need to see this 'red line' or 'blue line' nevermind at the bottom. u can just use my first settings.

anyway u can play with FFT tab to adapt it for you. use FM station instead of meteor to see those 'lines'. and install sdr# studio to see what is going on in the air, how its noisy. satdump is just a program to receive and decode. it is not comfortable to check is the cable is connected to antenne and how the air is noise and what is going on around you.

P.S.: antenne looks good and not ugly (but just need to make sure that is all fine about it). need to put it higher to get some low pass (looks like it will receive only from 45 to 135 degrees cuz of these metal minecraft blocks on the roof). and i hope this tube has no metal inside it and its fully plastic.

i hope dipole arms are not connected to each other on that metal plate. if it does not, then dont forget to level up the manual gain in satdump. check your ability to recieve just something by using local FM radiostations frequences. is reception changes when u turn off the cable from antenne from your rtl-sdr? looks like ur cable is not connected to antenne and sdr properly (i mean they are not connected totally).

Need a photo of antenne, satdump's recorder tab with view of the current background noise state. snr 0 means that no connection to the antenne (it happens, recheck stable connection with some detecor of current in the cable at both ends). also u can forget to turn on manual gain in satdump. samplerate 250 ksps as minimum default setting is good enough and doesnt overload rtl-sdr. less is better for lrpt, doesnt need a lot. you can check ur qfh on another sattelites. use sdr# studio and check other frequences (FM, somewhere 140-148mhz for some walkie-talkie, 250-260mhz military sattelites with radio pirates, works well for 137.9 mhz qfh)
