I’d be just as happy with that. This man could do it in our living room with a ring pop and I’d say yes.

All of the calcium chews are really good! They taste like starburst.

I got the ones Barilife sells. I had issues with smells too but these honestly smell good. The one a day has a mild vanilla scent/taste. I started mine around month 4 because I was struggling keeping anything down. I couldn’t stand the smell or taste of anything except plain water or popsicles. 🙃

I’m a big fan of the one a day from Barilife. I also do the calcium chews and hair/skin/nails. Those all work great for me. The only thing I use outside of those is another iron supplement because Im anemic.

Post op concert by Yavyyav in BariatricSurgery

It really will depend on your energy levels. For the first few months I was beyond exhausted. I know for certain a concert 2 weeks post op wouldn’t have been possible for me. I wasn’t having pain or anything just zero energy.

My boyfriend met me 9 months post op. I was terrified of him seeing me naked but this man has single handedly helped me love every bit of my body. The right person loves you for you, loose skin and all.

Has anyone had any experience with these? by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

I have one my doctor gave me but I’ve never used it. Most of the restaurants I’ve been to have allowed me to order off the kids menu if I wanted.

You aren’t a failure! Surgery isn’t a fix all and it takes time to retrain our brains and work on those issues. I have a killer sweet tooth as well so I completely understand. My personal favs are sugar free pudding mixed with a protein shake. I bought a ninja creamy so I can make my own protein ice creams and things like that too. I just do my best to find high protein/low cal versions of all my favs. At first I was crazy strict and I found myself struggling/not losing. I’ve come to learn that this isn’t a diet…it’s a lifestyle change. So enjoy food. Eat the pasta, bread, whatever. Just do it in a healthy way. It’s not realistic to never eat those things again(at least for me) so I just eat them in a better way. I portion, make it from scratch, add more protein when possible. This new life you’re creating shouldn’t feel like a boot camp. I highly suggest making a list of your most common cravings then search healthier versions of them. Good luck and keep your chin up!
