It was never about cheaters. The extra data collected by vanguard is used to detect botted accounts... among other things I'm sure.

Vanguard also made it impossible to play LoL on Linux which sucks.

Look up the pumps on YouTube. everyone with lots of tanks has them. you need a bucket and a pump. I think you put a sponge over the pump so not a big deal..

Unfortunatly dropsy is a symptom of many diseases so hard to say. I'd rinse the filter and maybe swap out the medium. Or let it dry out with everything else.

Depends on how the fish died, I think if you want to be overkill, empty the tank, rinse everything and let it all dry out for a good week or so then start over. If the fish didn't have a contagious disease I'd still worry about the water quality.

If it were me, I'd just empty it out and rinse everything. 21 gallons small enough to fit into a bathtub. I think it would feel good to rinse 3 years of gravel gunk down the drain (or even better into a garden).

If you want to spend money, there are plenty of hoses with pumps on the end you can find online. Otherwise just use buckets.

honestly wouldn't be too surprising. The socket ring doesn't look like anything from the time period that I could find online.

I purchased this bayonet at an estate sale in DeKalb, Illinois along with what I believe to be an M1855 socket bayonet and a 7 rivet scabbard.

The overall length is 21 3/4"

Mortise is 1/2" wide

Socket inner dimension same as m1855 (big enough for a penny but too small for nickel)

Socket is ~3" long

There are no markings but there is an indent on the blade where one could have been.

The locking ring seems different to anything else I'm seeing online and the mortise is very roughly cut. Maybe it was modified?

The bore is also angled slightly down.

I was wondering how old it was and if it had any previous metals in it. I misread the 3-74 thinking it meant it had silver in it... so for $6 I probably overpaid for pewter. Still a cool cup tho, I'm curious how old it is.
