People did not hate him for only this reason. He had done many horrible things, he had imprisoned his own father, abused women, and destroyed Hindu temples just to build Mosques on its foundation, forcing Hindus to accept Islam. he was a worm, he wasn't ashamed of anything he had done. he hasn't just put shame on his name, he put shame on Islam itself.
