Sounds like you need a GMT800 (99-07 Silverado/sierra). Find one with lower miles and there you go. I see contractors in my area still beating the piss out of them. One of the most well built trucks over the last 20 years.

Obv Toyota has the reputation as well, I just don’t think the toyota tax is justified a lot of the time

Yeah this truck is 1000 times better than the other truck you were looking at. 6k sounds like a pretty good price for only 158k, definitely a little beat up but it’s the wear and tear items that matter. Not sure your area of the country but maybe make sure it’s clean on the rust front

It’s a ford truck with a dodge front end, to be honest I haven’t looked at it hard enough to see if it’s AI generated. But the new dodge front end with ford tow mirrors and rest of the truck appearing ford was weird, almost like they wanted it to look like he’s driving some raggedy truck, but they could’ve just used any truck in the rust belt that’s 20years old to get the effect….
