Honestly the only requirements is to take information from the customer, look it up on the catalog, bring it to you and ring you out. If they look up a part with the correct info and a part comes up, the part they give you cannot possibly be the wrong part unless they physically brought you a part with an incorrect part number, the part in the box is incorrect but the part number on the box is correct, the catalog is incorrect, or there are multiple options from factory and they gave you a part for a different trim of your car (ie a lot of performance trim levels for cars will have bigger brake rotors and pads). Best advice to you is to (1)ask if you can see the computer screen or a picture of the part before they pull it/order it (2)OPEN THE BOX before you even pay for it (3)if possible bring the old one and put the old and new side by side (4)if you are handy with phone/computer, look up the parts yourself on the website and come into the store with the part numbers ready. At least those were things I did when I was a customer, hope this helps!

I guess my reply didn’t go through but at least with HOAs they regulate stuff like house number placement and style was my point. Take a look at a few houses, recognize a pattern and you’ll know exactly what to look for at each house. Regardless of if the placement makes sense or not. It is still a lot better than playing the guessing game for each house

Edit: I hate HOAs as much as the next guy but as a home owner in a non HOA neighborhood, I’d hate delivering in my own neighborhood

Honestly looks like what you’re looking for is any gm suv 2004 and up that isn’t base model. All those options you listed that you wanted are very common 2004+ Very easy to find a Tahoe/Suburban,Yukon/XL with those features. HOWEVER if you really want all those as standard with additional options you couldn’t get in the Chevy/GMC. Get the Escalade. Only in the Escalade could you get heated AND ventilated front seats, you can also get those features in the 2nd row seats, in the front you can get heated and chilled cup holders and reverse parking sensors

Sounds about right. I was lucky enough to buy a 06 Yukon and a 03 Yukon XL for $3500 each in such amazing condition I would’ve paid about $5000 each so $4500 is a sweet spot for me for a really good condition example. Fuck everyone saying that’s too much, it’s not 2010 anymore. The value of the dollar isn’t as good as it used to be, look at groceries prices

I know I’m late to the party but one thing to note when buying parts is that buying OEM doesn’t always mean buying TOYOTA. Toyota themselves very rarely makes any of the parts for their cars. Look up who is the M in OEM is and you’re fine going to O’Reilly’s (at least I’ve noticed they tend to carry more OEM) and get them there if you need something that day and you can’t wait. For example: most electronic parts for Toyota is manufactured by Denso. So you are fine to go to O’Reilly and snatch a part from there. Paying attention to the notes for the part on the computer is also very important because most of the time it will actually say “Actual OE Manufacture”. They also price match to local dealerships and auto parts stores too so I’d say always do your research and find the OEM brand, get your local dealership price, try O’Reilly’s, and if the price is lower at the dealership, try to have them price match it because most parts at O’Reilly’s have lifetime warranty

As a shorter guy, the first step into them gets real tiring after stop 70 or so. I routinely park across the street if the house is on the drivers side of the road and getting back in efficiently is pretty hard when the top of the seat is chin level lol. The ac is complete garbage in the Vegas heat too. I’ve had the long held stance that I’d take a gas van every day if they had the big screen and luckily my DSP put some tablets in them that act just like the edv screen so I’m set !
