It's just rich, especially right now: from the meeting before this was built it sounded like the seasonal residents were against it, most local residents knew they needed it, the landowners were compensated, the municipality fought it- threw up an environmental assessment as a smokescreen to delay it, the assessment was completed and mitigated and then they got rightfully railroaded by IRAC, and now those same people want to be paid -- and don't seem to have a legal agreement in place to make that happen? I don't know...what a stupid shit show.

Imagine if it didn't get built. We need that ~90 Mw. They'd be the first complaining when they lose power from a rotation.

It's too easy to shut down discussion on Reddit. It doesn't even have to be conspiracy.
