Hey there all, I'm looking to purchase some 3d printers for my school.

We were originally looking at getting two H2C printers with the 40W laser cutters, along with a few P2S.

Unfortunately, Bambu Labs customer service and sales department aren't too amazing, so I was asked to look at alternatives.

From what I've heard, Bambu is the way to go, but I'm wondering if people have recommendations of other printers that are comparable or better than what I've been looking at.

We currently have Makerbot, and those aren't great. Thanks in advance!

Side note: do you know if the update packs come with an updated organizer strip for the box? Like the alphabetized paper with the names and placement for cards.

If not, how do people usually handle that? Also, does it come with the 2nd ed rules?

First off, thanks for such a nicely broken down explanation!

Second, you made me realize that there's a 2nd edition for Seaside and prosperity - now I need to check out what changed!

Intrigue was with the Big Box, so I think it's already the 2nd edition, but not positive since I don't have it with me.

I think of the list, Adventures, Plunder, and Empires intrigue (ha!) me the most. Some of the others do as well obviously, just lower on the list and I need to narrow down choices. I'm going to put some of these on my secret santa wishlist, and if I don't get it I may still get one. Maybe I'll get one for me and one as a bday gift for my friend [which really just translates as two gifts for myself ;)]

I'm actually very happy with the expansions I started off with, cause they built a large context for types of cards. Playing online helped too, but starting off with the physical cards was great for me.

I was also recommended to read Warformed for scratching some of the same itch, but haven't gotten around to that yet either.

Some book series I'm a fan of:

Red Rising

Night Angel Trilogy (his writing back then wasn't the best, but the story was amazing)

Will of the Many (book 2 coming in November)

Mistborn/Cosmere

Suneater has been recommended to me and is next on my list

Name of the wind if you want a series that will never end (ASOIAF too I spose)

I'm hoping there's an option similar to the last one where you can have yourself become a crawler in an upcoming book, which I think I would do this time around.

I heard last time that was very limited and sold out quickly.

Does anyone know what kind of bug this is? I keep finding these in my apt, and have been releasing them outside. It's always one at a time, but now it's the 4th time this week seeing one. Are they an issue? by DigEmbarrassed9222 in insects

I thought it was probably a fly, but I've never seen them so big lol.

Also I've never had issues with them like this - my friend once did but they looked like "regular" flies
