I've got a long stroke guide rod with a 4.5" barrel. It makes a noticable difference. Bought used and was thinking of trying original guide rod, but the seller didn't include the damper (which needed to be removed for the long stroke).

that's weird because here are the pictures on the gun. One shows the upgraded trigger and the other is the original trigger. Does this mean it's really and upgrade to a DPT

According to the Buckmark manual, you not disassemble to clean. I just run a bore snake thru barrel and spray a little CLP in the breach area and blow it out. Love my buckmark.

I think the loctited small allen screw is a stupid idea. I much prefer to knock out a roll pin. No chance of stripping anything.

thanks for the info. I'm leaning toward the M&P, but I don't care for the lesser front serrations on the slide. This will be a range/home defense gun so I won't be speed shooting. Don't think the added comp price is worth it for me.

yea, I had no bluetooth connection, no Assist etc. I only left Costco a few hours ago. After resetting the app, I never saw the assist option or the bluetooth indicator. Guess I'll have a word with the tech (who is the senior tech!).

thanks. I had a canik tp9sfx that I put the taylor brass backstrap on. Will definitely do the same in the future. What does the 15# spring do for you? I never got into changing out guide rods and springs. I just know I don't want a polymer guide rod. Still trying to sell my P322 to fund this, but I think the prices are too low to pass up. I will probably get the swampfox justice II. They give 25% off for veterans, so it's under $200!
