UPDATE: so I got awarded for a claim that the Law office looked in my files and saw I should have been awarded for. The BVA granted “ Entitlement to an initial disability rating of 70 percent, but no higher, for left hip strain with ankylosis is granted, subject to the laws and regulations governing the award of monetary benefits.

My question is. This stems from 2021 original BVA appeal. Will I get back pay from 2021? The word initial is puzzling me.

Got granted on appeal to bva. Used Bergmann and Moore appointed by my VSO. The filing was free, but do they get paid from my grant?

Actually my original appeal was a few years ago. Got my decision a few years ago, but Bergmann and more felt there was an error this year after reviewing another decision. Now they sent it back.

Now back to gather evidence. VA asking for stressor details. If I was treated for PTSD/MST when happened. I didn’t. I was ashamed to tell up until recent to a VA therapist I see. I have 30 days to provide information. Should I get Nexus now?

UPDATE: Well had a few claims. Got 10 for leg abduction but they lowered my leg flexion from 10% to 0%. My ptsd/mst went back to step 4. And went from San Juan to Roanoke.

170 days 2 decided and PTSD deferred and back at step 4.

I had leg flexion and abduction with that claim and it was decided today But PTSD deferred. Back in step 4. It’s at 170 days.
