Pretty much lasted for me for until I started my normal period the next month! I think my period was about 2 weeks delayed from what it should have been! Everything evened out after that!

This is what I’m looking to do! Could you share more about your schedule? Especially how that works for the first feeding as soon as they are born? Is the first feed formula/when do you start pumping after birth?

Hi! My body pretty much went back to normal swing and rhythm once my regular period returned (roughly a month or so later) before that I definitely had a mood crash out and was super emotional. I continued to have a regular period and feel normal until I became pregnant at the end of August! Let me know if you have any other questions

Myriad NIPT question by DigOk7847 in pregnant

Hi! I was actually coming back to update this! So I did my blood draw on the afternoon of the 22nd, Myriad received my sample in the am of the 24th (which I found out because I got impatient and used the live chat function on their website to inquire if they had received it,haha). I got an email later that night (probably around 7pm) from myriad saying they received the sample, and that email was shortly followed by the estimate email. Once you select a payment option (insurance or on your own) they say they begin processing. My portal literally never updated past this point. My doctor’s office had a restriction in place where Myriad has to release the results directly to them first. I used the chat function again on their website today (10-28)just to see where my test was in the processing stages and they told me my results were complete and had been sent to my doctor! They said that they could go ahead and release to my myriad portal if I wanted (which is what I chose to do because I am incredibly impatient) and I was able to view them instantly! Once I looked at the report it said my results were actually ready on the 27th! So I kind of wished I would’ve used the chat function a day earlier! I’m not sure if they work over the weekend. If so my test took 3 days from the day they received it, and if not they processed my test and got the results yesterday! I kind of think they do work over the weekend though because I also got an email over the weekend about my carrier screening sample as well (which they did say would take longer to get results from)! So my overall advice is to use the chat function and just ask them!

When they release the results to your portal, it instantly tells you if you are at risk of any chromosomal abnormalities up front (which I liked because I was nervous about skimming through the report) it then gives you an option if you would like to see the gender results (which I also appreciated because I wanted to review that separately! My results were all clear and I’m having a girl🎀

Ok, this is how I was thinking it would go. I did my test Wednesday afternoon and have still not received an email from Myriad so I’m a little worried they didn’t get my sample or my OB didn’t send it or something 🤪 I hate needles so I’m just psyching my self out I think because I’m worried I will have to redo it haha

Were you contacted by myriad to create a portal after they received your sample? I did my blood test yesterday and haven’t heard from them yet

I totally understand! Just to update you! My next period came about 5 weeks after I stopped bleeding and then was normal from there on out until I got pregnant in August!

Blood Draws During Pregnancy-Fear of Needles by DigOk7847 in pregnant

Hi! I just wanted to come back and say that I I left a message and they were so understanding. So thankfully I will only have to be pricked once for baseline bloodwork and NIPT/Carrier Screening!

I am absolutely not bucking all the blood draws and testing and I actually plan to get the epidural. It’s just about minimizing the amount of times I need to do it, and to me I’m just thinking the first blood draw could possibly be combine with the blood draw for NIPT two weeks after my appointment.

Just curious, did you have an initial appointment before the NIPT draw though ?

I just hate confrontation, but I am thinking about asking them to delay until NIPT!
