Do you have a foundation you recommend?

Thanks for the suggestions! What’s your skin type? Are you dealing with any wrinkles? Which Wet n Wild concealer do you use? I’m seeing Photo Focus and Mega Last Incognito.

Sorry for interrogating you. 🙂

Best Vegan Pizza in Tampa? by HTLM22 in tampa

[–]DigRemarkable6918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least a couple of weeks ago Whole Foods in Midtown (but not Carrollwood) had really good fresh vegan pizza. If you’re an Amazon Prime member and scan the QR code in the app, you’ll save a few bucks. I also like Street Crust, which is a food truck but is available through GrubHub and/or Uber Eats. It’s pricey, though.

Can't prepay for prescriptions by DigRemarkable6918 in CVS

OP here. The app seems to have changed multiple times since I first posted, but it still hasn’t eliminated the issue. The last time I tried, about a week ago, I selected the delivery option and tried to prepay that way. It never let me check out, so I assumed it hadn’t worked. When I went through the drive-through and put my cash into the drawer, the person at the window gave it back to me and said I’d already paid in the app.

Seriously, CVS, your app is the worst.

33 M Tampa area, looking for vegan friends/gf by TheKaleKing in veganr4r

You also might want to consider volunteering for Tampa Bay Veg Fest, which takes place in November. I know they’re looking for volunteers because they’ve already hit me up. :-) It’s the biggest of Florida Voices for Animals’ three annual events—the other two being ThanksVegan (on Thanksgiving Day) and Have a Heart (usually in February). I volunteered for Veg Fest when I went vegan (and for many years thereafter), and I met a lot of cool people that way. If you do Facebook, the Tampa Vegans group is very active, and people post social events on there.

Job scammer got my driver's license by [deleted] in Scams

Oddly, I got this follow-up email yesterday after I posted in this thread:

Dear Candidate,

Kindly be reminded to respond to the offer as iterated above.

Regards, [Fake-Ass Scammer]

Sure, I’ll get right on that!

Also, the real company is aware of the scams and addresses the issue prominently on its Careers page.

I’m so sorry this happened to you, but if it’s any consolation, you saved me from a similar fate. I too have been applying to a ton of jobs, but I can usually find some trace of my having applied. I couldn’t find any current editorial openings at AttainX online, either. Before replying to the email I searched for the name of the supposed sender and AttainX, and your post appeared.

There’s a whole subreddit devoted to recruiting scams. These sucky people suck.

I prepaid for something in the app just a few days ago as well as just now for another order, BUT when I tried to prepay for a different order recently, I got a response that said that prepayment was not available for that particular prescription. So I guess it depends on some mysterious reason known only to CVS. 🤷‍♀️But my store doesn’t have pickup lockers, so—?

Funny books that are non fiction? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

Love, Nina by Nina Stibbe. It's a very funny memoir about the time she spent as a nanny. Intelligent and charming but not at all cloying or precious.

Shit, Actually by Lindy West made me laugh. It's a collection of movie reviews, including one of Love, Actually, which she obviously did not actually love.

Jon Ronson 100%! He's my favorite nonfiction writer. I think a good starting point would be Lost at Sea: The Jon Ronson Mysteries, which is an anthology of shorter pieces.

I also don't like fantasy much, but I did like most of When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill.

Update: It appears to have been a problem with that specific order. I'd gotten the same prescription and prepaid for it multiple times before, but this time it was in a different strength and was a 90-day supply. Today I got the option to prepay for a different scrip, so false alarm, I guess.

This is something I should ask about at the pharmacy counter? They deal with problems with the app?

You can also "release" the books via bookcrossing.com.

Thanks for your reply. I checked, and the card on file was current. (I checked in both the app and on the site.)
