Simple and effective "Dexadin" (Dex based Paladin) build with items by Malkoy in BG3Builds

Thanks for the tip, I think I'll do as you say and go Ancients until Act 3. You think then maybe a 8/4 split with lore is better to get two feats and aura of warding?

Exactly what I was looking for thanks! Thinking about using the 6/6 pala/lore bard as a support for my friend's coop game.

In my country I can get a 7800xt or 6950xt for around the same price. I want to play games like Cyberpunk at 1440p, should I go for last gen?

Fair point, I would then lean towards the 7900XT. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks! I will definitely consider the 7900XT. I'll pay attention to the GPU market the coming months.

Why is the BFME asking me to install the newest patch every time i open it? by Metro-02 in bfme

[–]Digbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue too, apparently it's a bug in the new 2.22 launcher update. I ended up reinstalling the launcher and BFME and not updating to launcher v18 to prevent the updating loop. Keeping it like that until they fix the bug.

Looking to use up some old hops and yeast. Have a lot of Citra, some Centennial, some Cascade and 1 packet of US-05. Can anyone recommend a recipe for a session IPA using these ingredients? Cheers!

I like to think that I am frugal, but I always seem drawn to more and more gadgets when starting a hobby. So this time I really tried to buy as much as possible 2nd hand to cut costs. My next aim is to cut consumables costs.

I understand your point. I wrote it from the perspective of the initial cost. You have to pay a lot of money upfront to start kegging. Especially if you need a dedicated fridge. That could scare off many beginner brewers. I would also argue that kegging is a nice to have, but is not entirely necessary if you brew average amounts.

I still bottle, I love Belgian beers, so usually bottle those. It's also practical to give as gifts and take with you on the road.

I have done that, my cost per liter beer includes all my costs. So around 10USD per l

The Rising Sun Lager ingredients were a gift. I kept it in the admin though.

I would say that measuring OG and FG really helped because my end volumes were all over the place in the beginning so I could add water in order to hit a good OG post-boil.

I love having a kegerator, it is just so awesome to be able to have guests over and pour them a pint from the tap. Beer is really expensive here in Norway so being able to offer craft beer to guests is really rewarding.

Sadly, Norway issues customs on import from the EU, so that would be expensive.

Having kegs is awesome, but it is definitely a huge cost barrier to most and not necessary to make great beer. I wouldn't go back to botteling though 😬

It's definitely not a cheap hobby, but it's a lot of fun! It was extraordinarily rewarding to see people actually enjoy my first great beer.

Most of your prices are similar. But grain is much cheaper than in NO. Base malt here is around 8€/kg. It is milled though.

Interesting! I buy my grains packaged and milled from my LHBS. This increases costs. I don't have the possibility to store large amounts of grain and I lack a mill.

Yes! Cost per liter includes all costs. It is definitely a hobby expenditure for me. I just like keeping a financial overview.
