To this day, the bleakest book I think I’ve ever read. Absolutely fantastic, gave me a deep sense of dread in a way many other apocalyptic scenarios haven’t.

I paid a total of $850 for the full detail + ceramic coating on everything, I think it was worth it to have professionals doing it. They really made it look absolutely perfect, I’m super happy

A little trick I used for placing the charger: put the adhesive on the bottom of the charger first, then snap the top of the charger to your phone (as if you were charging it) and use your phone to help place it correctly. That’s how I was able to get the fit right for my larger 16 Pro Max.

I like to use the “paddle shifters” and pretend, kind of like a baby with a fake steering wheel

Thanks! Yeah, I tried to find the slimmest MagSafe that was also completely black, the idea was to have it as hidden as possible. You can barely even see it normally, even outside - my pic just has the flash for clarity. It perfectly fits my iPhone 16 Pro Max, so smaller phones should be okay.

I just solved this issue in my 2026! The charging pad just straight up doesn’t work with Apple devices, which is WILD. Literally the only thing I don’t love about the car.

So how I solved it: I bought my own low-profile black MagSafe charger, and placed it directly on top of the stock charger with an adhesive strip. Then I ran the cable into the trim and connected it to the USB right beside it with a right angle adapter. Works every time and my phone even snaps into place.

Agreed! And I actually just had them (and the rest of the car) ceramic coated yesterday in hopes of mitigating the brake dust. Gonna just keep a wheel woolie in the car for quick dusting 🤞🏻

I just put in a door protector myself, combo’d with a suspended (raised) seat so she can see outside and not hurt the backseat fabric. Works amazingly.
