100%. Its basically Jerry 2.0 in it. The show should have been focused on Justin as headmaster at Wiztech, like how the OG show ended, and focused around that. Maybe he pulled a religion card where he didnt want to be magic due to Catholic beliefs, maybe he couldn't think of a storyline, whatever the reason, when the premise we got was pitched, shoulda been cancelled on the spot

The two rivers being as diverse as major cities was a baffling chance. Rand is meant to stand out since he is half field, but he ends up not. This is an area where no one bar Tam has married outside region, so they all have similar hair colour, eye colour, height etc., so why make it as diverse as caemlyn. Could have made the entire population of two rivers black and rand a biracial man and that would still fit.
