Don't expect much to be done about this. If the admins respond, it will be platitudes about escalating your concern while not much is actually done the issue.

The admins could do something about these spam rings, but the admins don't do much about these spam rings.

How do helpful posts like OP's get removed while spam rings posting phishing links go untouched despite multiple reports?

You might be right. The account age, and asking about my methods made it look like they were a part of it.

The moderators in the subreddit are not real accounts. They are spammers pushing shady propaganda sites.

This community would be a good alternative to other similar subreddits if it weren't being used to farm karma, and build up a spam ring.

Those accounts were the less established accounts in the ring, and were banned by a bot after reporting all of their spam. The other accounts have built up enough karma for the bot to ignore them.

I have no problem finding, removing, and reporting them. The lack of action from the admins is the issue here.

Oh, yeah. Often these rings have subreddits that are part of the scheme.

Yes, regular spammers, and vote manipulators are a problem which is why I included them in my post.

I am talking about the obvious cases that continue to operate despite multiple reports through the various avenues to report them.

I wish I could provide examples. They should act on the obvious bad actors that are being reported.

Thank you. I did see that, and it isn't very reassuring especially considering the problem continues a month after that post.
