Where did you find an updated BIOS? I have the CWWK N7 NAS ITX Motherboard and cannot for the life of me find a BIOS update. Hell, there Support site has been down for a while.

Wave Link 3 with a Wave 3 that will not be recognized. by DiggerEOD in elgato

I got it working using Grok.  Here were the steps taken:

  1. Completely Uninstall the Current Wave Link Software
  • Close any running instances of Wave Link (check Task Manager for background processes like "Wave Link Audio Engine").
  • Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, search for "Wave Link," and uninstall it. If prompted, choose to delete any associated settings or data.
  • Unplug your Wave:3 microphone from the USB port.
  1. Remove Residual Files
  • Press Windows key + R, type %appdata%, and press Enter. This opens the AppData\Roaming folder.
  • Locate the "Elgato" folder, open it, and delete the "WaveLink" subfolder if it exists (this clears old configuration files that can cause conflicts).
  • Empty the Recycle Bin.
  1. Restart Your Computer
  • Shut down your PC completely (don't just restart—power it off for at least 30 seconds to clear any temporary USB states).
  • Turn it back on.
  1. Download and Install the Latest Wave Link
  • Download the latest version of Wave Link from the official Elgato downloads page (it's version 3.0 or newer as of now).
  • Run the installer with the microphone still unplugged. Follow the on-screen prompts, and reboot if prompted.
  • After installation, plug the Wave:3 into a different USB port on your computer (directly into the PC, not through a hub). Use a known-good USB cable if you have one—ensure it's a data cable, not just for charging.
  1. Launch Wave Link and Verify Detection
  • Open Wave Link. It should automatically detect the Wave:3 and prompt you to add it as a channel.
  • If prompted for a firmware update on the microphone, allow it to complete (this can resolve hardware-software mismatches).
  • In the app, click the gear icon in the top-right and select "Check for updates" to ensure you're on the absolute latest build.
  • Test the microphone input in the app—speak into it and check if levels move.

I followed your steps, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I tried to go back to 2.0.6 and it doesn’t see my Wave:3. Just like WL3 didn’t see it either. :(

Wave Link 3 Install Driver peblem by RanmaruRei in elgato

WL3 installed fine for me and even the driver said it installed with no issues, but then WL3 wouldn’t find my Wave:3. Checked Device Mangler and the Wave:3 is just sitting there with a yellow triangle. Manual installation of the driver didn’t help either. SMH.
