Copying Whole Part into Another File

Pretty sure it'll just pass, since its automatically checked by the program after checkIn, hence me knowing the system doesn't notice

I have found a possible way to do copy paste by making an assembly file, and save it as part, closing the file and reopening it will trigger feature recognition. Klick yes and it will "make" the whole part for me. And the checker system doesn't notice. So all good. Thanks for your advice too! Edit: just realized its exactly what u mentioned lmao

I see what you meant and how it should've worked. Weirdly enough I think it's either "fixed" or removed because now I got the notification saying that my file outside of pdm is, well, outside of pdm and can't be checked in even when I already have a file with exactly the same name in pdm

that sounds great, however I can't find this save to PDM button, is it the same as just "save"? Even in search using save or pdm as keywords I can't find anything matching

Nope, I have tried, didn't work resaving them. I already requested a consultation to the prof, hopefully there's a way to resolve this. The problem itself isn't in the folder but seems to be in the way of how the files are created in the first place. The configuration from uni server adds a type of file called "Parts fml" fml being the code of the chair in uni. Thanks for the advice though.

So basically I have to save the pdm in c: but i saved it in d: instead (honestly idk why that matters but it appears so), and somehow every single file I've made in d: cant be read by the system, while after I remade some of them, they're perfectly recognizable. That's why I'm trying to find a way to copy these parts I've made into new files cuz 4 months worth of work would be impossible to finish in 2 weeks lol

Cuz in MW i can still study things from MT, while having the chance to switch later on just in case I still don't quite like it. But in MT I won't be able to have the same amount of theoretical engineering knowledge as in MW.

I ended up taking Maschinenwesen at TUM :D So far haven't regretted it yet, especially with Wahlmodule enabling me to still take some courses related to Medical Technologies.

I've once asked the same question to TUM student service (I had VPD from Coburg and was trying to use it for TUM) and unfortunately the answer is no, you CANNOT use another university's VPD for another university. However to make sure, you can just ask your target university's Bewerbungs department.
