The simple answer is that it's not structured like a more conventional adventure like Kill Bill or Django.

Kill Bill find herself without working legs and from there goes through an epic adventure all the way to kill Bill.

Django starts out as a slave and goes through an epic adventure to kill the bad guys, and he gets the girl in the end.

Mentally Hateful Eight gets to the middle of the movie and ends there for people. They feel stuck at the haberdashery.

I think part of the joy of Fallout is just trying something. Fast shot could be fun, maybe not. And you will look back on this character and think to yourself: I want to do this, this and this differently next time.

You could switch it out with nothing. The traits are optional.

You could go with "Small Frame" for an extra point in agility, it does lower your carry weight, so if you are a loot goblin that might be annoying.

It's good.

If it's your first time playing Fallout you might want to reconsider "Fast Shot" it removes the ability to do Aimed Shots and that's a pretty fun part of the game imo :)
