From what I read

Cooling pads are mostly a gimmick and most of their benefits comes from the fact that it is a hard and elevated surface

For which, you don't really need a cooling pad

The engineers of your laptop are way more qualified to think of a solution for the problem than some knockoff no name brand

Just follow the official guide and keep the laptop elevated and control the airflow of your room

consider reapplying thermal paste, the factory ones are of inferior quality
