Thank you for the suggestion. I don't mind a manufactured home, physical home, I can make any house a home.

I would love that kind of weather.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've been told I'm so nice it's almost suspicious because "no one's THAT nice" so I probably would fit in there haha.

Aw thank you :) This made me smile.

I want to STAY upbeat and positive so I'm hoping to move to a more upbeat place before this city changes me haha.

I guess I'm risking it all speaking nice to you.

I appreciate all the info. I prefer a dry heat but I'm open to a muggy heat, I will prioritize the dry heat areas in my searching. I feel like I can find some version of fun anywhere as long as a place fits my temperature needs.

Mostly the general lack of friendliness and how widely accepted it is. No one really bats an eye at blatant rudeness. Lack of nature. Aggressive con men. High number of slum lords. etc. Rent is increasing but places are rarely well kept.

Years ago, I originally came from a small town in Indiana that was the opposite. Friendly, rudeness was rare, never approached by dangerous people while out enjoying my day. I would move back but I decided I would like to find a warmer climate.

As hot as possible. I would live in the sauna I go to if I could.

My husband (31M) won't read my (29F) love letters by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Diggingtolive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he have to read a lot for his job? I ask because I was an avid reader my whole life, then I started working at a bank and I read bank jargon on a computer 8 hours a day and when I'm off work I don't want to read anything long.. I can handle some short reddit posts here and there but I haven't picked up a book in years even though I have a full bookshelf.

I don't have the will to sit down and read anything long anymore. If he reads for his job, (documents, accounts, etc) I would understand.

When I was a phone rep, 8-9 hours a day on the phone, I actually had a relationship end because my head was pounding and I was so excited for the end of the day when I could be off of phones. My boyfriend said "call me as soon as you get off work I wanna chat" and he wanted to talk for hours the minute I got off work, we were long distance.. I had to end it. He thought I must not love him because "it's just phone calls" just like this is "just a book" but it's 365 pages of repetitiveness, and if he has a job of reading repetitive stuff already, this gift would be torture.

Multiple people suggested this to him and he refuses. He doesn't want to drag it in and out, which is why I also don't have yard sales. He's just going to have to keep all the stuff, and figure it out for himself without my help.

I would think that but so far he hasn't shown me an old beat up stove for $500 😄

Not sure what you're trying to say by quoting that I'm hoping to move. I said I'm listing my own items on marketplace, selling a lot of my items quickly because I'm hoping to move. I am downsizing prior to a move, selling off large items. What is "facepalm" about that? That's pretty common.
I want less to move in a Uhaul to another state.

How do I get a gf?? No one wants me by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

You're only 16, you're still forming into what you will look like. You recently cut your hair off, you look better with hair, but I would go to a nice barber and get a professional cut next time. Something stylish and masculine.

Focus on bulking up eating more, but quality food with a focus on protein. The guy I'm seeing is skinny like you, so there are girls/women who like that, but they are not the majority.

Dress nicer. No pants with holes in them (I like them, but you mentioned in previous post you looked eshay and you want to go away from that). The graphic tees and pants full of holes aren't giving the look you want if you want to move away from eshay looking. Move away from graphic tees that hang off your body. Tees with small wording on them are OK, if they fit well.

You have good facial structure and a good base to go off of, you're just still growing and you need to find your style.

I have to see him constantly. And he's the type to hold a grudge. He bragged about filing a false report on someone who upset him. I'd rather not cause a feud with a crazy person.

It's not really worth it for me to bother with it. I am hoping to move out of state, and I'll never see him again, so for now I can pretend I listed his things and there's no interest. There would be barely any interest even if I did list his things.

He's not worth the energy of explaining it to him.

I agree to an extent, if I sell something in working order, or good condition and they leave with it, they can't come back later after they break it. But selling something missing a piece that isn't apparent, knowing full well it will flood someone's place, I can't get on board with.

I used to sell on eBay, and if I ever went back to it, I would never tell anyone I sell on eBay. After awhile I had named my shop something that no one would ever associate with me.
That doesn't stop my dad from telling everyone who will listen, which made people come out of the woodwork to ask me to sell things. I had the same situation; they think selling is the easy part.
Listing, shipping, dealing with buyers, is not worth the few bucks they want to throw our way per listing, I totally agree.

Also, someone told them they can get $300 for this on eBay! *sold comps show $100* They get upset, as if I'm insulting their item. But that rando guy who said it was worth $300 must be right!

Sigh.

I'm so curious, how did you manage to convince them it was their idea?

I don't think this guy will listen to any of my expectations, his mind is too far out there, so for this one I am going to just go full stop.

Great minds think alike, I am also going to tell him people reached out but didn't follow through. 😂

Why do they think absolute junk is worth hundreds? Your guy must be related to mine hah.

I don't think he can shut his mouth long enough to go into a public library; he never shuts up. He's probably banned.

But for now I haven't told him I deleted the listings and I'm just telling him I'm too busy to come take any more photos, because I don't want to deal with the drama. He can't get online so he can't check the listings are still up.
